My head is spinning .. When I recently stopped and ate there that phrase was never one I thought of. It's a funky little place, not especially clean or kept up, the service was nothing to rave, nor complain about, as was the burger, it was average at best, my thoughts are this; I feel badly for anyone espousing this... We stopped here on our way to our destination at the Hideaway Ranch for a local eats place. The food was well done and the atmosphere was very quaint and casual. Perfect for a beer garden. The hamburger was juicy and homeade from scratch. Absolutely delicious paired with their homeade fries. Don't miss this stop if you passing through Glen... More

Their burger even beats Grump's...which is really hard to do! I love the bleu cheese burger- the portabella burger is awesome, too. We love the patio area- very cute. Everyone who works there is very sweet! TheyWe look forward to going anytime we're out in Granbury/Glen Rose area.

Stopped here for a mid-week lunch at the suggestion of a local resident. The building is small and inside is decorated in a unique Texas bar and grill decor. The waitress was friendly and attentive, service was fast, and the old-style hamburger and huge onion rings were great. It was quiet with just a few customers when I was there,... More

I kid you not when I tell you grandma was in the back making pie. After eating an amazing green chili and cheddar cheese burger that was one of the best I have had in a while the sweet waitress asked us if we wanted any pie. We declined but she told us her grandmother had just finished making pies... More

This is a "dumpy" little pub type place, but the burgers are great! I had the cheddar/chile burger and it was so good! After you take the first bite and the juices run down your arm you know it's a good burger, don't put it down, keep it in the paper and continue eating! The meat was so flavorful and... More

This place has great service and our food was very good. It was recommended by shopkeepers on the Square. This place isn't very long on atmosphere or decor. But maybe that's just me.

We had a wonderful time, it was very hot, but other than that it was lots of fun. Nice place to be able to go with the family, enjoy music and a drink, and just relax. All the staff was wonderful.. We had a sweet waitress that took great care of us. We will for sure be back.

The AC wasn't broken - they don't have one! The wine selection on the evening we visited was limited to one white. No reds, or blushes, just one white. Oh by the way, they only had two plastic glasses of it left. The server was attentive and apologetic that the reviews had indicated they had a selection of Texas wines.... More
