Low water level

With the low water level you can walk along the river for a long while. It is a beautiful state park.

The tracks are harder too see than what I remember when I was a kid, but it's still a good time and a fun hike to the three different track sites.

We found a really deep footprint of a dinosaur right on the edge of the water and took some great photos. The other sections are wearing away quickly and are hard to find any "real" looking footprints. Top it off with the fact it is a state park, and this is a place not to miss for cheap $$.

I went here "many" years ago after going to church camp. Of course it seemed much bigger then. The river is way down so the tracks were visible but you had to walk across to see them. We were not able to see the ones at the first area. You do need to be prepared to walk down into the... More

We could have spent a lot more time here but short on schedule. Two dinosaur statues by gift shop for photo taking. Drive not too far to see the tracks. Track one is a steep and rocky trail clat times and a somewhat longer distance but great tracks to see. Best to wear good walking or hiking shoes for this.... More

Amazing hike with dinosaur tracks. Imagine the delight of a kid screaming "Look how big those footprints are!" standing next to one. The hike was picturesque and appropriately challenging. The river bed has lots of Dino tracks. A great day for everyone! Bring sunscreen and LOTS of water.

Have to have a good imagination to enjoy it. Very sparse. Will definitely be gone by the time our kids are grown so from that perspective it was a day well spent.

This was awesome and educational! We saw dinosaur tracks made thousands of years ago. There was even a park ranger there answering all of our questions. A must see!

We went to this state park to see the dinosaur tracks. While a bit pricey for our family of 5, we certainly liked hiking the riverbead looking for dino fossils. We found them and that made the trip worth every penny!

I got some awesome pictures of dinosaur footprints made millions of years ago! There was a park ranger there telling us all about the impressions in the rocks and answering all questions. This is a place to bring kids!!
