Our entire family enjoys this place. Lazy river is awesome. You float entire park+ rapids + big waves! Kids & teenagers love it. Best deal is buy 2 day ticket. $37 a day. Bring in your own food! Cup with free refills all day is a good deal!

We live twenty minutes from Galveston Island and Schlitterbahn is a summer tradition for our family. There are more than enough attractions for all ages! Tickets are very pricey but when there is free parking, free tubes for rides, free lifejackets for the little ones, and the ability to bring your own cooler with food and drinks it's understandable the... Always a must on our trip. My daughter is finally tall enough to ride the big rides and she did, everyone, at least once! It is a great place to go hang out and enjoy some time with the family.

The last time I was at the Galveston Schlitterbahn it had only been open a year and it was wonderful! This year, I took my son and his girlfriend (who had never been) and my BF. It was expensive, but judging on my previous visit, was worth the money. I was disappointed that there were no reserved shaded areas available... More

We live in Cleveland, Ohio near Cedar point and their water park, Soak City. Although I love both of them, this place is waaaay better. My husband and I (30 and 34) had a ton of fun cooling off at this park to beat the Texas heat. I really liked how even if there were lines for the slides, you... More

Our kids loved it, of course, but we were miserable. It was crowded and very public. The rides were "okay" and it felt like Wet 'n Wild. New Braunfels has a more "historic" German feel to it. The actual river that feeds it makes it more unique. It is also twice as large. Would not go back. Once was more... More

My 10 year old son and I enjoyed cooling off at Schlitterbahn Galveston recently. The pools were very crowded, (of course) and at one point, several of the tubes with people on them were crowded into a very small walled off area, feeling extremely claustrophobic as people crushed in to go up a conveyor belt into the next water feature,... I loved the water park! It was fun, clean, and very spacious. The food was okay, a little over priced.... Overall, it was a fun experience.

The price for the water park is overrated. There are not that many rides, and most of all there are flying ants in the pools and rides. however they do allow you to bring your own food and drinks. However I don't feel like if you are not riding the rides you should not have to pay fifty five dollars... More

Booked a weekend stay in Galveston just to visit the waterpark. Tickets are a bit high, food is outrageously priced and souveniers are ridiculous; however, we went for the rides and were not disappointed. Lines were short and the grounds were well maintained. We will definitely be back!
