Played the course in January. It is quite exposed like a links course, and we had very strong wind. The course is not easy, mainly due to the wind, and water. The landscape naturally in that area lacks trees which makes other courses in the greater Houston area look more interesting. The clubhouse looks a bit like a cantine. The... More

Moody Gardens reminds me of a South Florida golf course. A nice layout with some very challenging holes. The greens and fairways are in excellent condition, but they have left a lot of the grounds in a natural state. As you play, you see all kinds of indigionus birds and wildlife. Challenging with water or unplayable rough on every hole.

We had a little church golf tournament there, and the course was in great shape. There are many different tee boxes for golfers of all levels. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond. High recommend this course!

My tournament league played Moody Gardens for the first time. Let me start by saying that my review COULD have been excellent but there were a few issues...a couple not the course's fault. First off, we played on the same day as the Galveston Triathlon. The road was blocked leading into the golf course for the bicycle part of the... More

Went in September. It was entertaining. Tne rain forest with its monkeys were great. We got a discount in our tickets as we were seniors. That was nice.

Held our annual golf outing at Moody Gardens Hotel and played here. Greens punched three weeks ago but you would never have been able to tell. Wonderful facility and course really nice. Staff helpful and responded to our every need.

While staying at Moody Gardens Hotel, we decided to take advantage of the nearby golf course although we initially had no plans to golf. It was a nice course and so convenient to the hotel. While the kids went to the water parks, the husbands had some fun on the course

This course feels like you are Miles away from everything. The foliage is lush and well maintained. The practice area is perfect and never feels crowded.

Not a challenging nor very pretty course but if you're in the area and want to play a round of golf, it's there and not often crowded. The staff is cordial and the equipment is maintained acceptably.
