This is kind of a layed back tour, guided by a long time local who know the story of Galveston Island. First of all the tour begins at the Tourist Information Office behind the Moody Mansion. The person in the Office will can the driver and tell him how many riders he has. He arrives with a 8-10 seater golf... More

I found the history of the homes very interesting. I should have gotten a map of Galveston prior to arriving in the city. There were no signs directing me to the various homes on the tour. When I finally found the first house, I mentioned this to the docent and was told that the directions were on the ticket. Since... More

Thank you Jacab for being a wonderful tour guide. I grew up in Houston and have taken numerous trips to Galveston. I didn't know about the golf cart tour until my brother and wife, who are from Duncanville, Texas, came to Galveston to celebrate their wedding anniversary in February 2013. The tour was fantastic and will defintely tell others!

This tour was great! My mother, myself, and my two children learned so much about Galveston on this tour. It would have been such a shame if we had not gone on the tour. It made us want to stay and explore Galveston longer. Thank you to our tour guide, and if you are thinking about booking this tour don't... More

First off- we did not even get on the tour. So this review is only about our experience with the people who ran it. We called the night before to make reservations. Got there and signed in 30 minutes early. Went to load...and there were too many people for the tour. The tour guide asked who made reservations...us and one... More

My husband and I took this tour with the tree sculptures in mind. The additional views were an added bonus. We were able to find a cool diner due to the tour as well. It is the Star Drugstore. It has a traditional soda fountan feel. We at there after the trip and loved the food. It is worth the... More

This is a 1.5 hour tour on a golf cart around the east end of Galveston (the historical section, including the Strand, mansions, and tree carvings. The tour is chock full of current tidbits on where locals gather and eat as well as historic information. This is a great, low cost tour.

Jacob does an excellent job--above expectations. Our entire group said it was one of the best tours they have ever experienced.
