Bishop's Palace is OK as far as old homes go. It is exactly that -- an old home. The outside looks better than the inside. The inside could have been a movie set for a horror movie. Out of everything we did for our weekend in Galveston, The Bishops Palace was by far the best and cheapest. It was so beautiful and the tour guides did a great job of explaining the history of the home. Most of the furnishings are original.
