Walked out to the pier while walking the beach. Snagged a couple cups of coffee and went to the observation deck. It was a nice view of the beach, quiet in the morning, except for the birds.

Love this place the fishing is great. The shop inside is really nice, theres a restaurant upstairs and they have very clean restrooms. It does cost 12 for adults 6 for kids to fish on it but worth it you also get 10% off your food bill from jimmys. Definitely worth visiting even if your not going to fish i... More

We just wanted to walk down the pier, have a look, and walk back. 12 Dollars per person. We couldn't believe it.

The pier is not open to the P ublic without paying. The staff is not friendly and the view is better from other locations on the wall

This is my first time here at this pier. I love it so much. First when I walk thur the gift shop, I was overwhelming how many items they are offering from any kinds of bait to t-shirt. They even have coffee shop along with ice cream stand inside the gift shop. On the pier, they have the cleanest restroom... More

We were out driving around on what was my last night in Galveston. Others in my group were staying longer. We'd been by the pier so many times while driving back and forth for several days prior and I really wanted to just walk out on it. We paid the $3 to take a walk. It was fun talking to... More

First and formost it is a bit pricey to fish here at $12. A few things about that though that are positive though. It makes the pier less crowded which is really nice. I went last night for a few hours and caught a few gaff top catfish and I was getting bites the entire time I was there. Pier... More

I have visited Galveston regularly over the last twenty years. This is a good place to get close to the ocean.

This is a great pier to fish on its very high up so people use string and fish catching nets to bring their fish up from the water.
