First and formost it is a bit pricey to fish here at $12. A few things about that though that are positive though. It makes the pier less crowded which is really nice. I went... read more

We were out driving around on what was my last night in Galveston. Others in my group were staying longer. We'd been by the pier so many times while driving back and forth for several days prior and I really wanted to just walk out on it. We paid the $3 to take a walk. It was fun talking to... More

First and formost it is a bit pricey to fish here at $12. A few things about that though that are positive though. It makes the pier less crowded which is really nice. I went last night for a few hours and caught a few gaff top catfish and I was getting bites the entire time I was there. Pier... More

I have visited Galveston regularly over the last twenty years. This is a good place to get close to the ocean.

This is a great pier to fish on its very high up so people use string and fish catching nets to bring their fish up from the water.

Very disappointed that if you want to go to the end of the pier is $10/person. If you buy something in the gift shop you can go to the upper deck and watch the fishermen paid to go out on the pier. It looked like they were catching a lot of fish, so fishing from the pier would be a... More

Nice facility with a gift shop, bar, and restaurant that can be a little overpriced. You have to pay to park which is a pain because you have to download an application on your smart phone or call a 1-800#.

This is our Anniversary tradition...we come here and fish before heading home on our weekend. We only caught little Croaker and Catfish, not anyone's fault that is just what was biting our line. The staff was friendly and nice. We enjoyed our time on the pier and plan to return. Downside you now have to pay to park on the... More

We wanted to walk down the pier just to check out the view for a few minutes. We found out that it was going to cost us $36 not to fish but walk down the pier and see the sites. Not worth it! !!!!

Fishing was bad, but that wasn't anyone's fault. We never go salt-water fishing, so we have no equipment. It was nice that they rent everything and sell bait, because we wouldn't have known where to start.

The only pier we fish on!! The owners are great, the employees awesome, and even when the fishing isn't great the poeple you meet and hang out with are always fun!!
