We took the time to call and make reservations for this 8 p.m. tour. Got to Galveston early, to be on time and to our amazement, the tour guide, Rosalee, was overwhelmed with the amount of people who showed up. She was so flustered, kept asking who made reservations, who pre-paided , and it all came down to.... that another... More

Family of four met Kimber, our tour guide, on a Friday night at 7:30pm in front of The Strand's historic rail road station building. About 10 others joined our tour. We took the "original ghost tour". We found the tour very interesting, learning about Galveston's history and the reasons why this area has reports of many hauntings. We found Kimber... More

Lenore was our guide and she was very sweet and knowledgeable. I loved hearing the history of the homes and families, as well as the ghost stories. The walking was not difficult, but wear comfortable shoes.

Sara C gave a very enjoyable ghost tour, accurate history included, of the Strand in Galveston, TX. Her unassuming manner and ease of conversation made it personable and engaging. Her history facts were spot on (I checked). I took my 10 yr old daughter on the tour, and she loved it. Great first ghost tour for the entire family. I'll... More

I thought I was hearing things when the tour guide said we would stand at our first stop for 30 minutes when she told her first story. It went on and on. To keep myself interested I fact checked everything on my iPhone as we went. Shockingly there was nothing in the web to back up the stories. There was... More

We took the Original Strand Tour with our family (kids ages 5, 10, 13, & 20) mostly because the 20 year old and my husband were very interested. Before the tour, our guide told my husband and I a few of the stories to make sure it wouldn't be too scary for our younger kids, which I really appreciated. She... More

So great. I've been raving about this tour since I took it to anyone who will listen. I took about 60 pictures during the two hour tour and I got a ton of great and beautiful shots, and I also took five great orb pictures (if you're a believer)! Jack was our tour guide and he was funny, insightful, and... More

This tour definitely has the potential to be a lot better than what it was. Galveston has so much history, and for the tour to be as lame and boring as it was tonight is unacceptable! To me, the tour guide/host can make or break an outing. To have someone mumble and read out of a book and have no... More

We booked the Original Ghost Tour, conducted by Dash himself, as part of our kids' senior trip. Our group of 14 included adults and older teens. Based on some of these reviews, we expected to be caught up in the mystery of Galveston's ghosts. Not at all. Dash looks the part, but his story-telling left lots to be desired. Granted,... More

We took the ghost tour and instead of Dash we get this young girl that seemed more interested in her coffee then us. She just read out of a little book, had dates wrong and was just flat boring. I took my wife and 3 kids (21, 14, 14). She had no photos to back up any thing she said.... More
