We flew in a day early for our cruise and spent the evening in Galveston. We spent some time on the Seawall and had a fabulous time!!! The beach was clean and nice.

Neat to see and walk along, many things to do. Best thing to do is people watch, and watch surfers and fishermen.

The Seawall is so interesting. So much history. The beach was fun, of course and the eateries all along the Seawall could satisfy everyone's hunger.

Walk along the sea wall; to people watch and take your time. No hurry in Galveston and we strolled along in the sunshine. There is often a breeze that can whip up the sand and a haze is then over the seafront area. One of the piers looks like you can walk to the end but in fact has a... More

We headed out to Pleasure Pier in Galveston and found there is NOTHING of pleasure to be found in this overpriced, ill-managed and with rude employees "attraction." What an incredible rip off! $10 just to walk on the pier? Unless you just want to throw away money, STAY AWAY! Half start star is too generous honestly. It wasn't worth our... More

Our favorite spot on the Seawall is at 28th....The Pier to the East, Ohana Surf Shop just across the street (great place for boards) and Float close enough to not have to move the car to get lunch ..... walking the Seawall in the early morning is great exercise, watching the tourists later in the day is great fun.

The title says it all!! The weather was beautiful for November and the scenery was even more beautiful! Great shops, not too crowded. Really enjoyed.

This is one of the main attractions in Galveston. It is a great place to walk or ride a bike or skateboard on. Beautiful views and a great place to people watch.

Having visited Galveston multiple times, I was delighted to find on my last visit that the water wasn't brown! We were in Galveston with a group of students from Germany who just wanted to see an ocean and a beach. I am Texan through-and-through and love everything about our state, but I'm not sure I would pick Galveston to show... More
