Nice beach for long walks. The beach is kept up but that water, wow! It is a hassle for parking in a handicap parking space. I don't understand the pay for parking. Overall, an ok beach.

The Seawall is a place for all travelers. The beaches are very nice. There is plenty to do including shopping, sightseeing, great restaurants and bars. There are several types of tours and fun water adventures such as fishing and jet skiing. Pleasure Pier has all kinds of rides and things to do. Paying for parking was a surprise, but if... More

The Seawall is looking cleaner and more friendly. I still don't like the new parking system. More restaurants and things to do than ever before.

I have been to the Seawall multiple times. It is a great beach, great restaurants, great people watching. I love it there. I always have a wonderful time in Galveston, and the Seawall is an iconic part of that.

You don't have to cross streets (on the beachside), as this is just one long sidewalk, which is good especially if you have kids. You still have to watch children closely as the road is highly traveled by both cars and bicycles. It is quite windy and humid.

the seawall protects the beach...it's where you get saltwater up your nose...very therapeutic for beach junkies, like us...eclectic crowd, as usual, but who cares? hi tide, low tide...doesn't matter..

This is another side of Texas that I feel a lot of people overlook. This is an awesome beach on a cool little island that keeps standing up to mother nature. I loved riding down the seawall looking out at the gulf. So many places have built the hotels right on the sand so you lose the view from the... More

Since we were staying at a resort across the street from the seawall, we did not have to worry about parking. We just went to a corner with a walkway, hit the walkway button and crossed. Everyday I walked the seawall while my husband loved it for jogging. People were also skating, biking, walking their dogs. Many people are friendly... More

I really enjoyed the beach an all of the shops along the beach. I had dinner at Joes Crabshack on sea wall which was great. Traffic getting out of hotel parking in the mornings was the only problem.

Plenty of places to sit however get there early if you want to park. Lots of traffic because everything is right there. You can sit on the beach and walk across the street to eateries and shopping.
