walking on the Seawall at night is so relaxing. It was a little chilly as there was a bit of wind but the waves and lights were nice More

Stretching for miles, the seawall was built after the Great Storm of 1900-an engineering feat even by today's standards ! Stroll along and watch the beach life, rent a pedal bike with canopy, picnic on the benches, be mesmerized by the sea !! More

Whenever I've visited the beach at Galveston, my first gaze has almost always been to the south over the Gulf of Mexico. It's so cool seeing the waves hit the seawall. Driving on the seawall all you see is the ocean it's so beautiful!! Everythings on the seawall. Restraunts, shops, hotels etc. I loved the seawall best location on the island! More

Seems safe w/gro. Store across the street & ppl walking everywhere. Personally, I'm not much for crowds so I'd prefer less touristy type beach. Still, the waves are relaxing. More

LOTS to see! Not what you 'll see at Coney Islong, but sea (technically a bay), sand, rocks, jetties, people riding all sorts of wheeled conveyances, Some good food, some pricey, great cheap bars and tourist traps! The Jersey Shore of the South! More

It's so cool to be able to drive along and watch people surfing in the ocean. Lovely views and lots to do. We stay in condos on the Seawall so we get a beautiful ocean view all day. Easy to find your way around - WalMart, Kroger, etc. More
