Quiet

We went over Christmas, it was gusty and chilly and very quiet. It was Wonderful !! Still so much to see, lots of birds, and plants along the dunes. The drive out there was fun.

I must be honest, last visit was before new parking meters were placed. Did not have option to choose another yr besides 2014/15. sorry. Parking is convenient to many nice shops, the Duck Boat ride and Amusement/Restaurant on Pleasure Pier. I dislike the parking pay Method, everything else is fine! Maybe lower entry fee to the Pier if you had... More

It was really cold. But it was fun for the girls. We went on down where you can park on the beach and feed the birds. We cant wait to go back when the water is warmer

A lot to do and a super clean beach. If you have little one who want sea shells it is perfect and you don't have to buy them at the gift shop. And the jet ski rentals are fun for the adults. and the bicycles for rent hold up to 6 peddler and two little ones up front but shop... More

I don't like that you have to pay for parking not at least it's not to expensive.it's great for walking and had activities to do and many restaurants near by.

You can not visit Galveston without walking on the Sea Wall. Learn the history of why this wall was created. A massive feat of engineering. Walk along the wall, stop to look in all the goofy souvenir stores. Great for all ages!

the seawall is clean and very well maintained. There is so much to do and see, there are small beaches everywhere..the pier was very cool as well. i was suprised at the prices in the restaurant were not crazy expensive. this was our 1st trip and will not be the last!!

An excellent area for a walk. No charge unless you have to park your vehicle along the curb side. Wide walkway for walkers, joggers, and bikers.

We could barely see the ocean due to the weather. Never have I seen it so foggy. It didn't stop the kids from playing in the water. The typical stores along the sea wall. I'm sure it's more fun when you can see more!
