RED has been in Fredericksburg for about 3 yrs., I think. It is located in the old BUICK Showroom. If it was located somewhere else in Fredericksburg, prior to this location, I'm not aware of that. Home furnishings and decorator pieces are in part of the store. The other part of the store has many different items that I always... More

If I only have time to stop at one place while driving through Fredericksburg, RED is the place! Store after store you see repeating items, but Red stands out and maintains a reputation for being a unique, fun, inspiring store to visit if youre into home decorating.

They have some nice stuff, but we "scanned" a bunch of items and they show up way below what they are price in this store. The store is nice, merchandise is beautiful, but all of the items can be bought online for way below what they have marked. The service seemed to be good, but this older woman kept "following"... Red kept standing out as I wandered around Fredericksburg until I just had to stop. And it was packed with fun, unusual items that I thoroughly enjoyed browsing. Prices varied from really reasonable to " oh, be ridiculous" but managed to find several things that I was pleased with. However, the staff was either so busy being cool, playing with... More

Cool store. Really nice, interesting, affordable (mostly) housewares and gifts. The service was great! Super nice and helpful ladies! Sometimes when I am in cool, trendy stores (Z Gallerie in Dallas) I think, "I bet if I were a hot gay guy, the sales guys would pay attention to me." OK, you know it's true. Anyway, RED isn't like that... More

Red was a nice little respite from the walk down on Main. There was lots of cool little stuff around some of it affordable, so of it not so much. Living in Austin, I feel this is a throw back to what is available here in my own town, but on some levels a little less expensive. There were some... More

It's certainly worth taking a peek inside this interesting shop. There are many "curiosity" type of items... new, mid-century, and antiques. But, we found it to be quite pricey.

We found this to be a fun little shop! Unique things, modern and vintage. Staff is nice and helpful. They will even hold items for you at the front if you want to walk around the town without lugging a lot of stuff for you.

Red is a beautiful store located in an old Buick building. You can find thing here you can't find anywhere else, from lighting to bedding, to gifts. Even if you don't find what you are looking for, you will have a great time looking. The professional staff is so friendly and helpful. You must visit Red on your next trip!

A very modern and clean building (an antique itself) lured me in. They had an eclectic mix of oddities and vintage gifts along with modern architecture furniture pieces. All of which I would have liked to bring home. Wonderful interpretations of hanging light fixtures!! Yeah, to you "Red" for bringing a little bit of mid century modernism to the Texas... More
