1. It's unique. Wildflowers are what it's all about in Texas - and this is your go-to place. Gorgeous fields of in-season wildflowers are a picture takers dream - and a gardener's dream also. 2. Find seeds here perfect for you. One whole section is devoted to seeds, in the traditional small packets and in bulk. Their display easily tells... More

I have been coming here off and on for the last few years when I'm near by on business. This time I had the chance to take my son and his wife for their birthday weekend here and to some wineries. After stopping at the visitor center we headed here. Love this location! The butterfly garden was amazing. There were... More

The interesting layout of the free walking paths around the epicenter of plantings of flower varieties makes for a nice quiet and nature oriented stroll in the mid-day sun or early in the morning. The friendly atmosphere inside the shopping area welcomes new travelers and also those patrons who enjoy shopping for colorful and useful additions to their outdoor garden... More

If you want to retreat to a beautiful quiet place while in Fredericksburg, don't miss this one, especially if you are into nature or gardening. We thought we would spend 30 to 45 minutes there, but lingered for an hour and a half. You can walk down the lane beside the flowers from which the seeds will be harvested--a beautiful... More

This is a great place to buy seeds and plants. It is also a great place just to stroll through the butterfly garden and the fields. They have a couple of covered seating areas to rest and a little restaurant to sit in and enjoy ice cream or wine. The pathways are nicely done so its easy to walk by... More

Beautiful wild seed and Texas native plant store. The grounds are just gorgeous with all the sunflowers along the perimeter. I love the way the follow the sun. Inside is filled with all types of nice things for your home or to give as gifts. Must stop if your in the area.

We loved our visit to this awesome collection of flowers and butterflies just outside of Fredericksburg. There were huge fields of flowers! Beyond the flower fields were unique items to enjoy in the gift shop, I especially liked the yard art items and hand painted items. We were just going to walk through the shop, but couldn't resist some hand painted... More

Beautiful well manicured fields of wildflowers of all kinds, with a lovely gift store. But don't miss the awesome peach ice cream served in the building behind the gift store. Was the best ever, was huge in size and can't get it out of my after a month. A must try. Would be wonderful to time the stop when the... More

We visited today and thought it was beautiful! The flowers in the fields were so pretty. Lots of great gift shopping opportunities. I loved the huge selection of seeds and plants. The only drawback to the whole place was the price on those two items. A little high, but the quality is too.
