Wildseed Farms has little bit for everyone. We were able to walk through the wildflowers and take beautiful pictures. Their gift shop and cafe were very inviting. We enjoyed an afternoon listening to a local band on the outdoor stage. Nice relaxing way to spend the afternoon with family. more

I've never been to a place like this. I love arboretums and conservatories and make it a point to visit them when I can. Wildseed Farms is like no place else. You feel like your in a living museum...but you can buy everything and learn about it too. This place is a great for kids, photographers or just flower lovers.... more

Even though we were are at the very end of the wildflower season, there were enough to be amazed with. The Austin area had very few flowers this year, so to walk in acres of flowers was pretty cool. Hope all my photos come out! Best part is that it's FREE!! more

What a disappointment! A tourist trap, and I suppose the clue is in the name, but these 'wildflowers' are in rows! Not what we expected. To be fair, this area had a very late frost and is in the grip of a prolonged drought, but we saw more wildflowers along I-35 than we did in any part of the Fredericksburg... more

Visited Wildseed Farms years ago and made a trip back this spring even though we knew it wasn't a good year for Wildflowers in Texas due to the ongoing drought (particularly the lack of rain this winter which is when wildflowers need nourishment the most). Wildseed Farms is a wonderful place to visit even in a down year for wildflowers.... more

I stumbled upon the wild fower ranch in April when I was on a trip to the hill country with my camera insearch of wild flowers along country roads. This site was breath taking! more

I had been to Wildseed farms years ago and it was such a wonderful experience- there were two fields of flowers open to the public, which allowed parents to take pictures of their children amongst the red poppies and bluebonnets. Now that I have my son, I wanted to take pictures of him in the flower fields also. We paid... more

We came upon the Wildseed Farm by accident and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! The fields of colorful flowers surrounding the shop are what first caught our eyes as we drove by. Of course we had to stop and check it out. The flower field were beautiful, the huge gift shop was and stocked with tons... more

The Wildseed Farms was a highlight of our first trip to Fredericksburg. There wasn't much growing in late July except sunflowers, but all that yellow was beautiful. Loving gift shops, I was in heaven enjoying all the glassware, ceramics, decorative items for fall, Toland flags, mailbox covers, Texas jams and honey, and--of course--wildflower seeds, plus a lot more. And there... more

This plant nursery/wildflower farm is a true visual feast! There is an almost endless array of plants to look at and buy. The wildflowers (in bloom at that time!) were beautiful in their intense color. The gift shop has some wonderful novelty items in it that I have seen nowhere else. And whatever you do, DON'T miss out on that... more
