Wildseed Farms is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, just seven miles east of Fredericksburg, Texas. Come by and see us seven days a week, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Bring the camera and capture the ultimate in wildflower photographs! Spend as much time as you like at the farm's activities. We have 200 acres of wildflowers in various stages of development here on the farm. Springtime visitors will likely see Texas bluebonnets, red corn poppies, phlox, and a gorgeous array of other spring flowers. Summer visitors will enjoy cosmos, sunflowers, zinnias and other warm weather bloomers. In the fall, the fields are planted for the following year's color, but our Nursery is well stocked with a variety of choices for fall planting and colorful pumpkins adorn the grounds around The Shops at Wildseed Farms which are brimming with delightful gifts for home and garden. And don’t forget to browse our incredible selection of wildflower seeds as well as our seven regional mixes for anywhere in the U.S.

I would normally have given Wild Seed Farms a 4 or 5 star but this last week when we visited, I was very disappointed. If you look at some of the back fields and on the walks, there is a very invasive, non native plant called Star Thistle everywhere. I put back the bag of Texas Oklahoma wildflower mix that... More

Located just east of Fredericksburg, this is like a garden center for wildflower lovers. They have plants and seeds for sale, along with pots and other landscaping items. The gift shop is nice enough, the restrooms are clean, and there is an area for refreshments and food items. The place was beautiful with large areas of red poppies blooming in... More

Between Fredericsburg and the LBJ State and National park you have to stop here and tale the walking path. There will be some beautiful wild flower here that you will find to brighten your day.

Always an enjoyable visit. Fields were all in full bloom. If you want to buy wildflower seeds, this is the place. Plenty of places to sit and rest. Unfortunately no wheelchairs or scooters available for handicapped, have to have your own. Lots of growing plants available for sale as well. Great visit.

Loved this free stroll through some of the most beautiful flower fields! We spent 3 hours here! There is a snack bar where you can get a sandwich, chips, wraps, beer, soda, etc. And of course a shop to buy seeds and souvenirs and gardeny type stuff.

Happened to be in the area at thes best time, when wildflowers were in full bloom. Drove by Wildseed Farms and I'm so glad we stopped. The fields and gardens are absolutely gorgeous, esp. the expansive areas of red (and pink) poppies. This "farm", besides having the lovely gardens and walks to stroll through, has a nice shop and restaurant... More
