Description: Wildseed Farms is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, just seven...
Wildseed Farms is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, just seven miles east of Fredericksburg, Texas. Come by and see us seven days a week, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Bring the camera and capture the ultimate in wildflower photographs! Spend as much time as you like at the farm's activities. We have 200 acres of wildflowers in various stages of development here on the farm. Springtime visitors will likely see Texas bluebonnets, red corn poppies, phlox, and a gorgeous array of other spring flowers. Summer visitors will enjoy cosmos, sunflowers, zinnias and other warm weather bloomers. In the fall, the fields are planted for the following year's color, but our Nursery is well stocked with a variety of choices for fall planting and colorful pumpkins adorn the grounds around The Shops at Wildseed Farms which are brimming with delightful gifts for home and garden. And don’t forget to browse our incredible selection of wildflower seeds as well as our seven regional mixes for anywhere in the U.S.

This is a great place to visit even if gardening isn't your thing. The variety of native Texas plants and flowers is amazing and the shopping, eating, etc. make it a great place to visit.

My wife and I have been here a number of times. We stop every time we make a visit to Fredericksburg. Finally, on our latest visit, we were able to tour the garden area. I highly recommend the walk through all of the areas of wildflowers and landscaping. It is quite relaxing and enjoyable. We probably spent an hour or... More

The grounds are beautiful! This farm has the largest selection of Texas wildflowers I've ever seen. There is a great gift shop and cafe as well. Bring your camera!

A fun and interesting place to shop. It is the best when the flowers are all in bloom but still fun during the "off seasons". Unusual gifts. Great snack bar! Very friendly and helpful employees. I stop in there every time I travel in that area! So many fun things to look at in the gift shop and a huge... More

Make sure to go when flowers are in bloom but it is still a good place to visit w/o the flowers. Great gift shop and pet friendly.

The butterfly garden was my favorite. We went at the end of July so there weren't many flowers blooming. We did like that you could purchase a variety of seeds to plant yourself.

Love, love, love this wonderful place. Wish they had not just harvested the wildflowers they are wonderful. Go in early April or all ahead and see when they harvest.
