Description: Wildseed Farms is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, just seven...
Wildseed Farms is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, just seven miles east of Fredericksburg, Texas. Come by and see us seven days a week, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Bring the camera and capture the ultimate in wildflower photographs! Spend as much time as you like at the farm's activities. We have 200 acres of wildflowers in various stages of development here on the farm. Springtime visitors will likely see Texas bluebonnets, red corn poppies, phlox, and a gorgeous array of other spring flowers. Summer visitors will enjoy cosmos, sunflowers, zinnias and other warm weather bloomers. In the fall, the fields are planted for the following year's color, but our Nursery is well stocked with a variety of choices for fall planting and colorful pumpkins adorn the grounds around The Shops at Wildseed Farms which are brimming with delightful gifts for home and garden. And don’t forget to browse our incredible selection of wildflower seeds as well as our seven regional mixes for anywhere in the U.S.

This place is a great place to visit with children. There are so many things to do and see. The ice cream was great. It is a perfect place to have lunch and enjoy the beautiful colors of flowers all around.

We like the wine tasting and the lady operating it was full of information. The luncheons looked delicious and will have lunch there next time we visit. Lots of information on the seeds they sell and the beautiful healthy plants they sell. Enjoyed the boutiques with unusual clothes and gifts to purchase.

We stopped here on our way out of Fredericksburg. The shop is cute, and the grounds are beautiful. It's a beautiful garden center with unique varieties.

We stopped to check this place out. Allow time to walk around. It's a notch above your local garden store and nursery. Lots of stuff to look at and if you love shopping... you'll like the Wildseed Farms.

A few Bluebonnets here and there but mainly most of the blooms are yet to show. Still who wouldn't be charmed by all the potential. The store is great and i urge everyone to buy wildflower seeds and distribute with abandon--- there is still a lot of highway construction right of way that could use a springling of seeds.

There weren't any blooms yet but the shopping and tasting were great as always. You can buy some amazing things for your garden. There are also lots of lovely options for the home. Jewelry and clothing abound.

This will be beautiful in the Spring and Summer. Lots of outdoor seating. many different seeds to buy and I appreciated the maps showing which seeds will grow in what parts of the country. The gardens will be gorgeous when things are blooming.

Beautiful gardens, large shop with numerous varieties of seeds and cafe for ice cream etc. A nice place to relax and sip a beer while looking out over the wildflower fields.
