Wildseed Farms is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, just seven miles east of Fredericksburg, Texas. Come by and see us seven days a week, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Bring the camera and capture the ultimate in wildflower photographs! Spend as much time as you like at the farm's activities. We have 200 acres of wildflowers in various stages of development here on the farm. Springtime visitors will likely see Texas bluebonnets, red corn poppies, phlox, and a gorgeous array of other spring flowers. Summer visitors will enjoy cosmos, sunflowers, zinnias and other warm weather bloomers. In the fall, the fields are planted for the following year's color, but our Nursery is well stocked with a variety of choices for fall planting and colorful pumpkins adorn the grounds around The Shops at Wildseed Farms which are brimming with delightful gifts for home and garden. And don’t forget to browse our incredible selection of wildflower seeds as well as our seven regional mixes for anywhere in the U.S.

Spring Delight

Especially beautiful in spring! Friendly staff. In beautiful Texas Hill Country. I still order seeds from them. Take time to visit Johnson Ranch while in the area.

Even though I was there in the off-season, I did enjoy what I saw. Of course I enjoyed their gift shop and the wonderful items for gifts or for me. I will be back in the Spring and when more is blooming.

Amazing gift shop in front and restaurant and their jars of sauces, jellies, pickles, etc - you name it! Plenty of food tasting and free beer, if interested! Great service. A must stop!

Beautiful place to just look around. They'll have about any type of flowers/seeds you might want. Highly knowledgeable staff. Just as good ordering thru the catalog/mail route. Good catalog; quick delivery.

Easy in and out from the major highway through town. Acres of plants and garden supplies - lots of gifts and crafts inside - and clean restrooms! A nice diversion on your drive to or from Fredericksburg.

Wildseed Farms has s WONDRFUL selection of native grass and wildflower seeds in addition to a good selection of mostly native decorative plants. E often stop by just to browse and see what is new which was the purpose of this visit. Being January the options are a bit down but spring will be here son with much broader choices.

We've visited here many time and have never been disappointed. The best time to visit is in spring and early summer. The fields of flowers are amazing. The bluebonnets are gorgeous! I enjoy taking pictures of all the flowers and the butterflies that they attract. There is a wonderful gift store with beautiful gifts to purchase. You can also purchase... More

We like to stop here when we are in the Fredericksburg area. The outside area is nice with all the plants and flowers. Inside, there are many lovely gifts you can buy in the gift shop.
