Vacation Mass

This church is lovely and has quite a bit of history. The outside is beautiful and the inside is quite ornate. They were very welcoming to visitors at the beginning of the Mass.

A beautiful church that is definitely worth seeing! We went to the Sunday service and stayed afterwards for the tour. These historic churches are so amazing. The people were friendly.

Beautiful church. Very friendly parishners. The priest gave an awesome homily that even my 10 year old said she could understand and relate too.

A must see if you are ever in Fredericksburg. It is one of the Texas Painted Churches, and it is gorgeous. I have toured 6 others and this church is as pretty as all the others. Take a few minutes and go into the smaller church also, it was a very moving espy for me.

I went to Europe last year and this beautiful, old church is like a mini version of the big cathedrals there. Stained glass windows, flying buttress arches, and beautiful wood detail. Worth a stop.

Another gorgeous Catholic Church in Hill Country and South Central Texas. Wonderfully, skilled painting inside the church. Located on a wide boulevard in the quaint German town of Fredericksburg. It's a great way to seek some solace during the day or to attend Mass while you are in town.

We were passing the church and decided to stop inside. Beautiful architecture, peaceful. There's a book at the back of the church which describes the various stained glass windows and carvings.

One of the "Painted Churches" of Texas, this church is wonderful surprise! Upon entering, I was in awe of the architecture, beautiful paintings, stained glass windows, and most of all, the feeling of utter peace and unity I felt during Mass. Whether you are Catholic or not, I recommend visitors check out St. Mary's and enjoy this stunning gem in... More
