Fantastic kitchen goodies store!! They have a little bit of everything. After smelling and hearing about at least 10 different coffees, I bought some Ethiopian coffee from two of the most knowledgeable coffee connoisseurs I have ever met! We will definitely visit again!!

This is one of my top-three favorite places in Fredericksburg. This old hospital has been converted into the most amazing kitchen shop ever. Each little room has more treasures to explore. If you have foodies or cooks in your life, you'll get shopping done for every upcoming holiday or occasion you can think of. Prices are reasonable considering that right... More

Really great that they used an old hospital to make a store for kitchen utensils. Kind of cool and creepy at the same time. Every room is utilized with shelves and and kitchen tools and every nook and cranny. It can be like a good browsing opportunity for things that are cool, but you may not necessarily need to use... If you love to cook this is the place for you. The selection of cooking related gear and gadgets is just amazing. I would have never expected to find this type of place in Fredericksburg. Pleasantly surprised.

There are a lot of great gadgets, cookware, etc. in this cute shop. Very friendly, sweet, and helpful staff. They sell Yeti coolers too. Great shop!

This store has EVERYTHING you can imagine, and some you didn't know existed for your kitchen. The other great thing about this store is that not everything is super expensive. You can spend an hour trying to look at everything here. The staff is super helpful, and the store still has the original structure as a hospital which is pretty cool.

Der Kuchen Laden is by far the best and most well stocked culinary shop I have visited. The shop is located in what was once a hospital and is laid out in a manner that makes it easy to find an item or to just browse. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend a stop whenever you are... More

Despite the German name, this unique kitchen store has all sorts of items imported from everywhere as well as US made gadgetry, baking accessories, coffee mills, books, aprons, table lines, arrayed in different rooms. The building had been an old hospital in the late 1800's and I don't think there have been too many interior changes since those days because... More

The people who work at this retail store is what makes the store a pleasant place to shop! You are assisted in a helpful manner. The employee is willing to take the product out of the box to show how it works. The shop can order product for you. The store will also ship product as well!!
