There's so many different shops and variety to choose from. There's something for everyone. I loved that I could walk into a trendy and upscale boutique next door to a general and sundries store. The restaurants varied as well and there's something open for every meal and taste.

Experience old-world hospitality in a Germanesque setting, Fredericksburg is one of my favorite getaway destinations in the heart of Texas.

We enjoyed staying 4 days here but one day is plenty. The downtown are is great. Beautiful and revitalized. A lot of businesses thriving and various kinds of shops. The shops are very pricey. Several restaurants downtown. Kind of weird. Close at 4pm on Sunday and most not open on Monday.

Main Street is loaded with shops, galleries and eateries, appealing to any and all tastes. Some have neat stuff, very few have junk. You can spend an entire day just walking Main Street without even touching the absolute best of Fredericksburg, The National Museum of the Pacific War.

We went all over Main Street, shopped till we dropped. Expect crowds anywhere you go any time you go. So much to see and do.

There are too many places to go into in one day, there are some good places for the guys to have a cold beer while your wife or girlfriend shops. A lot of fun!

We spent our entire day on East and West Main, going into shops and art galleries, tasting wine, eating a ton, and soaking up the ambiance. I can't wait to do it again!

Just an enjoyable way to spend a weekend. There is a verity of different shops, great places to eat, and entertainment for any age group. There are a lot of nice places to stay, reasonable price points from simple motel rooms to B&Bs. Something for every type of traveler

I ran along Main Street one morning late in July. They're even shops open at like 7 or 8 a.m. when I came by. I was impressed by how well kept the streets were, pretty the store front, and variety of options. We are going to come back.
