This is a pretty amazing place to visit! Highly recommend if you're in the area. We were at the park as soon as it opened, and I'm glad we were! By the time we climbed down, it was really hot. I'm not a hiker, so this was a good climb. We weren't in a hurry, so took a couple breaks,... More

I climbed Enchanted rock a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it, but this time climbed it around 8pm for the sunset hike with friends and Ranger Scott. He is very informative and a friendly guide who hiked to the top with us. It never gets old seeing the beauty around this area. The sunset was awesome and it... More

Go early to beat the heat and make sure to bring lots of water. A backpack really is a great way to keep your hands free. The climb is steep and we only made it halfway up, but it was worth it. Bring your camera!

This was a beautiful trek to the top but it was hot so bring lots of water & some snacks are great too! There is a little cave to explore once you reach the top so bring a head lamp so you don't drop your cell phone to the depths of the cave! Also if you are super tall or... More

Amazing views and great photo opportunities. The trip up wasn't to hard, the kids ran straight up to the top, I walked. Me and my husband helped an older person up when they got tired, but made it to the top.

Well, theres really not too terribly much to do if you are not going to climb the rock, which is more than we were prepared to do that day. It is a pretty drive over to the park and the rock is pretty cool to photograph. If you are in decent shape I would recommend climbing it.

You can see this as you approach the park. It was too large and not enough time to explore all day. But one must see this natural wonder.

Great place to go for a long hike. Be sure to take a picnic lunch. This is the perfect place to eat and relax. It's wonderful for families too.

Enchanted Rock is the perfect hike - not too steep and what a view from the top! You can also follow trails around the rock - and limited camp sites are available. Day use fee applies, but if you have a state park card, you're in free by the carload.
