We came here years ago, and the place has changed a bit. Friendly service! The wines all have unique names such as Dirty Girl, etc. They pour a generous portion, which was nice. We all bought a glass, which by far, has the prettiest logo! Inside is a bit dark, so I know why people were sitting outside. Unlike other... More

My hubby and I shared the tasting, which included the free glass. I loved the cozy, wine cellar atmosphere. We bought the blanco port, and I don't even like port!

The wine at Torre di Pietra wasn't the best we tasted, but the service was so great that it was the most enjoyable winery we visited. (Ask for Alan!) Also the building and patio are beautiful.

My husband and I stopped here on our way to Fredricksburg. So glad we did. The day was chilly but pretty. They have a nice tasting area with a wonderful patio for warmer days. We bought a bottle to take with us since we were behind in our schedule. Next visit I will want to stay and enjoy the music... More

I loved this winery. The facility is very beautiful and the wines have very creative names. They also was one of the only wineries that we visited that allowed you to taste a premium sample and port wines. Put this winery on your list if you will be visiting this Fredericksburg.

This was the first wine tasting i had ever been to...we arrived along with a couple of bus tours and it was confusing at first, then a wonderful lady saw we looked lost so she called us over and she started explaining the process, and then we were given a sheet to choose our six selections from for only $10.... Limestone building, nice grounds. The interior feels welcoming and cozy and lighting is low as if you were in a wine cellar. We were greeted with a warm hello and come on over. All the wine tasting stations are set up with the same wines so you just walk up to a friendly face and they give you a history... More

I've been here so many times, that now I just walk in, get a bottle of Red Flirt with 2 glasses, have a seat on the patio, and just slip into my "nirvana in the Hill Country". I really like sweet wines, which they do well, and their atmosphere is the best around. This is always my last stop on... More

I have done several wine tasting trips near the Fredericksburg area, often taking friends for their first wine tasting experience. The Texas Hill Country has so much to offer, and the wine industry has certainly taken off in Fredericksburg. With more than 30 wineries to choose from, wine tasters have plenty of options when making their stops up and down... More

The band playing was entertaining and the overall atmosphere was good. The wines were good, but a bit sweeter than I prefer. Best part was the staff - very friendly and knowledgeable.
