Quick stop

The wine was pretty good. The service and facilities were great. There was plenty of places for a group to sit down and enjoy live music and great weather. Worth the stop.

Came here for some wine tasting with my wife. The staff was friendly but they were very limited in their wine selection. No Riesling. It is a nice small place and they had music outdoors. Check the website to learn a bit about the owners.

Visited on a cold and rainy day. Loved the decor and cozy atmosphere inside. Also, the staff was very personable and helpful. It's a really nice place to hang out and drink some wine by the fire, if they wine is from another producer. I love wine and clearly taste is subjective, but the wine was not very good. The... More

This is my favorite winery in Fredericksburg. Love their wines (the ones that are my style). Beautiful grounds, extremely friendly and helpful staff.

Torre di Pietra was the busiest of the 3 wineries that my husband and I visited during our day trip to Fredericksburg. It was a bit larger of a production and offered amenities like live music, bbq, a gift shop, and free tours. However, it still had a very family-oriented vibe and didn't feel overly commercialized. We entered into the... More

As a wino guy I am always suspect of wines off of the beaten path. Michigan, not yet. Illinois, not yet. Texas, i was surprised. We happened to be there on crush weekend so you could stomp grapes, listen to music and taste wine (6 tastes of your choice for $15). There are many wineries in the area on what... More

Great ambiance. Not so great wines. The dirty girl wine was very sweet. The other two White wines were called "earthy" but the taste was very similar to a bad bottle of wine. Two of the Reds were cloudy. Overall unimpressed with the wine and we left without purchasing any.

This was our first experience with a wine tasting & tour so we were not sure what to expect. The young lady who greeted us was very friendly & assured us the young man would give us all kinds of info since she told him we had not done this before. However, when we deviated from his routine, he became... More

This place was so nice. We loved our wine tasting, it comes with a glass. Also, the tour in free, which is nice. Some of the other places charge. Nice atmosphere. Over all a great place!

We booked a wine tasting for 17 people over a month ago for a retirement party. We arrived 5 minutes early for the tasting and were told that the winery had no space to accommodate us because they had given our space to walk ins. The staff was unapologetic and dismissive. In visiting wineries in Fredericksburg, Napa and Europe I... More
