Went in as I was visiting Fredericksburg for the first time with my wife. My wife went to the counter and the lady asked how she could help her. My kids wanted to wait on a bench outside and I went to tell them I would be out in a few minutes. At that moment, the lady behind the counter... More

I wish I had read more of the reviews before going. It was our first Winery visit. Some of the wines were indeed good, not great. We were very careful to follow the instructions of the lady behind the counter. She is very assertive. The experience felt more like being schooled than be educated. The facility is very unimpressive. It... More

My wife & I have traveled to many wineries across the US and have come to expect, at least, a greeting within the first five minutes of arriving at a tasting. However, after about 10 minutes of standing, we finally left. Won't recommend and won't return!

We had the misfortune of stopping here the other day. This was by far the worst wine tasting experience we have ever had. Not only were the wines less than average but the person conducting our tasting made it even worse, He was obnoxious at best and offensive at times. His blatant dislike of the French was uncomfortable to listen... More

In a word...awful. I can only assume all the positive reviews were written by employees to counter balance the terrible ones! The common theme being terrible customer service, a surly attitude and complete rudeness. After my horrible experience I asked around town and every local I spoke with told me they avoid this place and would never recommend it. I... More

At first glance we almost didn't go into the winery. It's on the main street and almost looks like an old grocery store (double glass doors and long fluorescent overhead lights). But we went in, and so glad we did! We each tried 6 wines and I liked at least 4 of them (which is unusual for me). The staff... More

Super friendly people and wonderful wines. The people who work there really like working there and it shows in their attitude towards the taster. Wines were super and prices reasonable. Will go back again.

I visited the tasting room recently and while it appeared quite nice in the beginning - big room with lots of bar space for patrons, some art and crafts stuff etc. when I got up to the tasting counter it all went a little sour. The woman was not very friendly (and it was not busy at the time so... More

The first thing I noticed was a sign on the door saying to turn off your cell phone. Very large space with art of sale and such. Looked around a little bit, then noticed a table with jams to sample. Above, was a sign that said, " you cannot taste wine after sampling jams'. i thought that was peculiar, but... More

we aren't wine experts, just like some wines. they staff were great at explaining their different wines. i was hesitant to go in because although i've always wanted to go to a winery tasting room, i felt 'stupid' because i don't know anything about how to properly taste or appreciate a wine. i just know if i like it or...
