Looks like a winery in a Dollar General store

Imagine a Dollar General, gutted to the bare structure and loaded with wine-making equipment along the walls. Throw in a long counter and some product shelves, and there you have... read more

When you go into a winery and see a "No restrooms" sign on the door, that should be clue #1. The good, tastings were free and they have samples of food and an airy room, kind of a warehouse feel. The not good. When you approached the counter, the hostess read off a list of rules including 4 wines, you... More

Host was rude. Wine was mediocre. Don't waste your time. There are so many other lovely wineries to visit....just don't go.

Imagine a Dollar General, gutted to the bare structure and loaded with wine-making equipment along the walls. Throw in a long counter and some product shelves, and there you have Fredericksburg Winery. The facility was so underwhelming that I forgot to take a picture of it. Wine tasting was free at Fredericksburg Winery. You get to pick four different wines... More

We stopped in as first timers. The tasting is free, which we loved. However, during the tasting the server was impatient and rude. I mentioned a wine smelled sweet (not that I was labeling it a sweet wine, just that the fragrance was sweet to me) and the server snapped at me telling me it did not and that it... More

This place was such a disappointment. The servers were impatient and rude. There was no way we could have enjoyed this place. One of the reasons to go to wineries is for the experience...it's fun and interesting to try new wines. This place was NOT fun, and the wines I tried were entirely too sweet. Generally an unpleasant visit

A variety of wines are offered for tasting, most are free. We enjoy trying before buying wines we are not familiar with. We always find something new to take home.

The owner Cord loves to educate everyone on his wine. People take wine way too seriously and they shouldn't. Stop in and pay them a visit...good people that will take good care of you and you'll have a great time sampling the wine.

I looked this winery up on the web and thought their website was witty. The idea expressed on the website was there is no wrong or right attitude about wine, so this seemed like a fun place to visit. WRONG. First don't believe the business hours. We stopped in at 7:05pm and were told they would be closing shortly. We... More

The old guy who was serving the afternoon we went seemed intent on humiliating every customer at the counter. For example, he asked me what wines are blended in montepulciano (or it might have been temprinillo), and as I'm looking at him quizzically (wondering if he has a clue what he's talking about), he says, in a condescending tone, something...
