I looked this winery up on the web and thought their website was witty. The idea expressed on the website was there is no wrong or right attitude about wine, so this seemed like a fun place to visit. WRONG. First don't believe the business hours. We stopped in at 7:05pm and were told they would be closing shortly. We... More

Becker has been our favorite Texas wine for years and our visit just reinforced our affinity. We joined the taster club, enjoyed 6 sample wines and took home 2 cases. It was almost as much fun as sitting in a Vegas casino. The good energy in the tasting room was contagious. The only disappointment was not getting to take a... More

The old guy who was serving the afternoon we went seemed intent on humiliating every customer at the counter. For example, he asked me what wines are blended in montepulciano (or it might have been temprinillo), and as I'm looking at him quizzically (wondering if he has a clue what he's talking about), he says, in a condescending tone, something... This was the Only FREE wine tasting I found in town!! They have a Great christmas wine that can be heated. Yummy!! Friendly female server allowed us an extra wine taste to decide on the wine to purchase......Bought 2 bottles and enjoyed them both very much!!! Not a wine snob requiring wine be labeled from Spain, France or even Napa,... More

I hate to leave terrible in a review but when you deserve it you get it. Being a avid wine drinker with trips to Napa, Spain and other wine regions I can usually pick decent wine. I'm not saying Fredericksburg wine can compete with Napa even though Four Point O Cellars just outside of Fredericksburg is Napa quality and the... More

It wasn't my first visit to this winery and I raved to my friends what a great place it was only to be embarrassed at how we were treated by the woman behind the counter (who I believe is married to an owner). She guzzled her own glasses of wine (which I'm pretty sure is a violation of TABC Laws)... More

Probably the nicest staff in Fredericksburg!! The store and the staff were kid friendly and very welcoming. Bought 2 bottles of wine, Muscat Canelli (sweet) and Texitage (dry), should have picked up more both were delicious!! Tried the heated holiday wine, it's a must! I'm not a fan of sweet wine (that's the hubby) but the holiday wine was like... More

Very welcoming, friendly staff. We went in five minutes before they closed and they still offered us four free tastings. Not very impressed with any of the reds we tried, but it was a fun experience and we checked the tried local wine box for free instead of paying $10 at another shop....

This winery is located right on the Main Street of Fredericksburg and offers free tasting of 5 wines, starting with the driest wine to the sweetest wine. You have to make sure you choose the wines you want to taste carefully, as you can not go backwards. If you start in the middle with a semi sweet wine, then want to... More
