My wife and I decided to give it a go. We stopped in and right away was greeted somewhat warmly and the staff explained the pricing for the tasting. We tasted 5 wines and bought 3 bottles. Not bad at all. Reading some of the previous reviews regarding rude staff, maybe we caught her on a good day?

The shop had about 12 wines to choose from with a complimentary tasting of 5 wines of our choice. I chose 3 of the drier wines then chose one that was a little sweeter. I then asked for another dry wine for my 5th and last taste and the female clerk refused to serve it to me! She said I... More

We visited this winery during the weekend. A staff member announced she was available for tastings at an empty counter. I went over and asked if I could try one of their wines. She said she had to go through the whole list first. I said ok, the she very rudely said she would have to wait for the people... More

Christmas Wine is yummy!! Whites are good. Reds not to my taste. Colors tend to be on the brown side rather than a deep, red, clear color: part of the pleasure of red wine. But I bought 3 bottles of their Gleuweine style Christmas Wine that I will serve out of a crockpot.

We did the private tour/tasting and Cord (one of the 3 brothers that own the place) was very knowledgeable and funny. He made the experience awesome and they had very yummy wines that were reasonably priced.

This is the only Fredericksburg-area winery that is actually in downtown Fredericksburg. With this location, they could easily produce less-than-stellar wines, and most tourists wouldn't know any better. But they do have some good stuff here, about two dozen different types of wine from dry to sweet. Their Main Street Christmas wine is served warmed up, and is so good... More

This is the best winery in town. I always love going here. The people who run this are always friendly and ready to help. Great sense of humor. If I don't go to any other winery in town, I am satisfied as long as I get to come here. Their Christmas wine is a family tradition with us now. Check... More

Four out of five of the free wine tastings were quite tasty, and I would have bought some wine from this place except for the fact that the female employee from New York was incredibly rude. You may be from New York where that kind of treatment is expected but you are in Texas, where is hospitality is king, now.... More

Large place in a strip mall. The host was friendly and knowledgeable. The wine was good. There were many items in the store not related to wine to purchase.

The wine tasting was good, but the sommelier was obnoxious. We bought a bottle to remember our visit but many of the other vineyards in the area are better, and you don't have to listen to a lecture to enjoy a wine tasting.
