Liked their Merlot and very much regret not purchasing a bottle of their 2013 viognier wine, often called "the red drinkers white". It was so good! I did not care for the atmosphere, which felt very commercial to me. Did not have a wine bar feel at all. Seemed like the focus was on selling more than the tasting of... More

When we checked into our B and B, we asked the owner for suggestions on a few of his favorites for a winery tour. We settled on five in the area. Grape Creek was our first stop, and it was a tough act to follow. We have tasted wine and visited wineries in a number of states (particularly California). Grape... More

Great Tour and excellent tour guide! Only draw back had to go find someone to take us out on the tour after the time " 2:30 " passed and no one came out. Joined our first wine club.

We've been to many wineries around Austin, and Grape Creek always remains the favorite. So much in fact we're not only members, we also are "weekend warrior" volunteers on a semi-regular basis. Obviously the wines should be the star attraction of any reputable winery. However, a big part of the overall experience in enjoying a nice bottle of the vino... More

We enjoyed our wine tasting experience here. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. We liked the wines we tasted so much that we joined their Wine Club. The grounds are beautifully maintained and a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a glass of wine. Definitely worth a stop.

We spent spring break at the RV park across the street and finally had an opportunity to get to the winery. Very friendly staff. Very knowledgable. We tasted some great wines, brought some home and even joined the wine club. They have a beatufil outdoor seating area that overlooks the vineyard. They are even kid friendly and the kids played... An absolute jewel in the heart of Texas featuring beautiful views and delectable wine. We were educated on the production and processing of the wine before being invited to taste the subtle differences wine in different barrels. Back at the main shop we enjoyed a tasting, our choice of six fabulous Grape Creek wines. Each bottle offering a divine liquid... More

Don't just do a tasting , take the tour. My wife and I had a tour with Kathy. She has been here for several years and is very friendly and informative. The wine making process was explained in detail and made easily understandable. At the end we got to try Merlot stored in three different types of oak and each... More

This was our first wine tasting tour... not sure what to expect... our guide was patient with us and thoroughly explained the different types of wine and the meanings behind "swishing" the wine in the glass... I am so glad we choose to go here!

We've taken the tour twice now over the last 2 years. Love how they let you sample wine right out of the barrels and explain the difference between barrels made in France and the US. The tour guides are very knowledgeable. They have wonderful wine (we joined their club) and a beautiful facility. It's our favorite place to go in... More
