The wine tasting gives you a chance to try about six wines then decide if any suit your fancy. My wife and I ended up with four bottles. They have a tour and an outdoor area to sip a glass or have a snack (restaurant to open later this April on weekends). They all kind of importune you to join... More

We paid $12 to taste but didn't pay the extra to go on the tour -- it was$30 each. Wine was good and our severer was knowledgeable. Really pushed the wine club. Seemed a good deal if you really liked their wine! Hadn't expected to pay to taste since we've been tons of places where you didn't pay. Good all... More

I am not a wine snob per se, and prior to our Fredericksburg trip, I have NOT been a fan of wine. Grape Creek changed all that. Upon entering their main tasting tour, we were greeted by a very lovely lady on how everything works. Their staff is so attentive. We decided to do the taste and tour combo. It... More

We have been members of this winery for 4 years because we like it so much. We were there on the weekend and were able to enjoy live music. The music is nice and the wine is fabulous. The grounds are beautiful. We enjoy sitting out on the patio. There is an outside area for nonmembers that is very nice,... More

Our server was FANTASTIC, FUN, FRIENDLY and generous. We had a really nice time and thought the wines were the best of any Texas wines we tried in Hill Country (and we live in Oregon where grapes and excellent wines are made). The basil-garlic grape seed oil is worth the stop!

My husband and I had a fun experience at Grapecreek Winery. Prior to going to the actual winery, we vsited the tasting room in downtown Fredericksburg. Fun place and sampled lots of good wine. (But be aware that not all their grapes are native to Texas!) The following day we did visit the winery - it is beautiful and has... More

This place was highly recommended by other wineries in the area, and with good reason. The wines here are complex, and they have something for every palate. Their blends are phenomenal. I, as someone who enjoys complex, bold reds, highly recommend the Cabernet Trio, Cabernet/Syrah, Mosaic and Bellisimo.

A group of us did the barrel tasting cellar tour and taste and it was a very unique experience. The tram took us a short distance to the "mechanics" of wine making and what a spotless place. Hard to believe they can crank out the grapes in such a shining clean area. The next tour segment was into the barrel... More

Being wine club members, my wife and I quickly found out that sitting on the terrace with a bottle of Cabernet Trois was a delightful way to spend an afternoon. Out of all of the wineries/vineyards in the Texas Hill Country, Grape Creek stands out as the superior breed. Quality wines, great atmosphere, professional grounds development and upkeep, and many...
