Very nice Texas winery, they have an excellent tasting room and are not pushy, but they are very friendly and will engage you about the wines and tell their story very well. An enjoyable stop on the wine trail

My husband and I went to tastings at 4 wineries yesterday, and this was our favorite stop. We enjoyed all of what we tasted, and our service was fantastic. Good wine and good conversation! We are so glad our driver for the afternoon mentioned it to us, or we wouldn't have known to make it one of our stops.

We enjoyed the tasting, except for the dis-interested server. He did not have much to say, and kept accessing the computer or his hand held devise. Another staff member came in from outside, and chatted with guy #1 for a few minutes about things business related. Guy #2 then turned to us and engaged us in a wonderful conversation regarding... We visited this winery on a Saturday. A bus was there and the tasting room was full but we had excellent service and our server was knowledgable about their wines. Tasting fee was $12 per person with wine glass included that's yours to keep. I think we tasted six wines each for that price. Not much of a view at... More

My wife and I stopped in and enjoy all the wines at Rancho Ponte. Typically the dry reds are our preference but we totally enjoyed their whites as well. We thought the prices per bottle <$25 we more than reasonable. Staff were friendly and educated. Join wine clue next day after tasting everyone else's. Cannot wait to go back again.

Love this place. Been here a couple times, good wines & nice people! Owner is interesting to talk to. I haven't seen the bad service others had mentioned...must have been an off day with a bad employee. I'll go back, especially when they have music & bbq.

I stopped at this winery on my way to Fredericksburg and really enjoyed the tasting they offered. I came with a list of wines I wished to taste and was able to try all but one which was sold out. The lady who helped me suggested an additional one, the Orange Muscat, which was absolutely wonderful. I liked it so... More

We stopped here while visiting Fredericksburg and found the owner to be friendly and happy to share his knowledge while we tasted some of his wines. Personally I found the reds to be too dry for me, but his Sorelline was wonderful. It's a fairly new vineyard and not very large but has a lot of potential.

We have stopped at Rancho Ponte for tastings many times over the years. The wines are good and at reasonable prices. It is not a "scenic" spot. The Peach Sangria is very refreshing on a hot day.

We stopped here on our wine tour and it was not very crowded but the employees acted like they had some where else to be. they did not explain the wines or anything just asked what we wanted and poured. i did enjoy the peach sangria but the bad thing was they did not sell it in the bottle just...
