It was a short cattle drive but worth to see the long horns through the historic district. Cowboys with there horses sat out on the streets for you to visit with them before and after the cattle drives. They handed out cards about various cattle in the herd with facts on them.

If your kids are expecting a lot of cattle... they may be disappointed! This is defiantly a mini herd of cattle. It was a fun experience but short. We made the mistake of watching from the area where the herd started, and so after a few seconds, all there was to see was... cattle rears!

The daily drive of the Fort Worth Herd through Cowtown is a sight everyone will enjoy It is particularly a weldome sight and highly photographed by "city slickers" who have never been around cattle or a working herd.
