We have been here for several exhibitions. Right next to the Kimble so you can do 2 stops with one parking. Excellent architecture too.

The exhibit of modern Mexican artists was excellent. The museum's beautiful space allows large installations without a feeling of crowding or being overpowered by massive works. Also has great space for multimedia works. And don't skip the restaurant.

The building is truly stunning with glass, steel and water. The exhibition spaces are large and well suited to the collection with some pieces particularly well displayed. A special exhibit of post modern art from Mexico was gripping, and spoke to the museum's commitment to growth. Do not miss lunch in the Modern Cafe with a very attractive menu overlooking... More

The edifice is beautiful all on its own, but the exhibits are where they really shine. It's worth the drive if you're anywhere near Dallas/ Fort Worth.

The building alone is worth the visit. In addition to the art, the museum offers a wonderful array of foreign films each week in the very comfortable auditorium. The restaurant is also a spectacular setting, looking out on the reflective pond and grounds. A true oasis

This museum displays what seems like a rather small collection of late twentieth century art in an excellent building. The showpiece of the collection is Andy Wharhol's Marilyn Monroe which everyone in the country has seen published at one time or another. My major interest was the building itself. It was designed by the Japanese architect Tadeo Ando, one of... More

If you are going to visit the Museums in Ft. Worth give yourself time to see this gorgeous building up close! The building is so beautiful you need to see it up close. Have lunch looking at the water feature after exploring the nice modern art collection. There are a lot of museums in this little stretch, don't miss this... More

There is a lot to see at this museum. Don't expect a deep review of the movements and don't expect too many examples of particular famous artists. They do provide some context for the art work which helps. I enjoyed the time I spent there but I seriously wish they had more art to view and less reliance on the... More

There were some wonderful pieces, but I think the collection as a whole was sort of missing overall "WOW" factor that I seemed to get at the SFMOMA and Dallas MOMA.

It is set right on a manmade water feature. Great permanent exhibit. Also a theater that shows art films.
