I just finished a visit to Burger's lake today. It has been many years since I last went, and I did have a very good time. Some improvements have been made; they have added some water slides, shade pavilions, parking, and updated some rock work. The place looks really nice around the lake area. They have instituted a new rule... More

This place is awful and lifegaurds act like they are working at a beach in LA. Don't waste time and money on this swamp. As my family was constantly harassed by lifeguards we watched a dirty old lady peel dead skin off her in the water what a treat

Burgers lake is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Where the grill is hot and the water is cold. We spent about 6 hours here on a Sunday with the entire family and everybody had a blast. Went here with about 15 people of all ages. This place was busy but awesome. Food very reasonable. Frito Pie $2.75. SnowCones in huge cup $2. Lots and lots of shaded parking. On a side note, my girlfriend got choked on chicken and lifeguards rushed over to help. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Will recommend all to this place....or... More

Our family had a wonderful time swimming at Burgers Lake! The lake is spring - fed and the water was refreshingly cool even on a 100 degree day. Lots of water activities for toddlers, teens and adults. Picnic tables, charcoal grills, inner tube for hourly rental. Children's playground with water features. We brought our cooler with water, sandwiches and watermelon.... More

On a hot day, this is a great place to be! When you drive up there is a big sign with figures of Marilyn Monroe and Elvis. I meant to get a pic of that with my boys, but forgot. You drive up and pay before you park. They accept cash, Visa and MasterCard. It was $5 for age 6... More

Great place to BBQ . sandy for the kiddos to make castles !its fun, clean and safe, and my family loves it! Lots of shade and trees for our hammock. We look forward to come every year! FYI If you plan to go on a holiday leave real early, lines get long but it's worth it !

My husband and I took our 13 year old grandson here, and we all had a great time. As a child, I loved going to Burgers Lake, and enjoyed it equally as much now. The area is beautiful, with a lot of shade trees, picnic tables, and chairs. It is a great place for family fun, and appropriate swim areas... More

I went there as a teenager and they have now redone it and it is clean and up to date. For a great day with the family, go and enjoy! Make your own memories!
