Recently there with our family. The kids ranged in age from 2-17. Everyone had a great time. The grounds were nice, and the restrooms were much better than anticipated. We brought our own food and there was ample space for grilling out. As we were there during the week it was not overly crowded. We definitely will be going back... More

This little hidden gem is a fun place to go to cool off. They have slides, diving boards, and a trapeze swing to enjoy the water. They even have a kids section that has some of the same features. It is a sandy bottom, spring fed lake that has shady spots as well a sandy beach. They have picnic tables... More

I've been coming here since the 60s. My dad came to Burgers Lake in the 50s. We LOVE it. It's extremely fun, clean & safe. We come back every year at least twice.

My parents used to bring us here back in the 60's. I brought my kids here in the late 80's. Now our kids are all grown and I expect we will take our grandkids here one day. We live several hours away from the facility however my wife and I were in Ft. Worth June 6-8, 2014. We were spending... More

Awesome time! We were visiting from Illinois and really enjoyed our day here. We packs a lunch to grill and played in the water for hours. Kids had fun on diving boards and slides. Excellent fun! Don't believe the people who rated it low..they provide no details as to why. I can't imagine anyone having a bad time here, you'd... More

I had not been to Burger's Lake in about 15 years. I recently went and am now planning another outing there. I thought it was wonderful and relaxing. I laid in the sun and sat in the clear and clean water (with a sandy bottom-no shoes needed) while my 10 year old son and his friend played and went off... More

I like Burger's Lake. It's like the places I swam as a kid. Most lakes in Texas aren't like lakes in other places -- they don't have lifeguards and the bottom is often muddy with weeds. So when you find a lake with good lifeguards and that has a bottom that's not muddy, that's special. It's deeper and cooler than... More

I have such wonderful memories of this place. Swimming, jumping on the big tubes, playing frisbee and volleyball, or picnics. It's a family place, always clean, and well cared for. Part of my life forever.
