I would highly recommend this attraction. It's beautiful. The flowers are gorgeous when they're in bloom, and the area around BRIT has informative plaques that tell you what kinds of flowers you're looking at. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for something to do in Fort Worth outside of the Stockyards.

This place is cool. Go take a tour and learn about the plants at the Botanic Gardens. Really informational.

We went on Free day in the arts distric. They were well staffed. We talked to 2 young, well trained botanist. People do all kinds of plant research here. The building is so green equiped with a "living" roof. The building itself is beautifully modern. We had a tour of the herbarium with 1 million specimens stored there. We saw... More

I went to visit BRIT for work and was lucky enough to be able to explore the entire building and site. I wish I lived in Fort Worth so that I could take advantage of their educational programs. It's the first LEED-NC Platinum building in Tarrant County, so if you are an architecture or environmental enthusiatic, it's also worth a visit.... A visit to BRIT is interesting on several levels. Their new sustainable building has a living roof, vegetated walls and a retention pond. All of the landscaping has been done with Native Texas Plants. It is worth a visit just to see the building and grounds. BRIT is located next door to the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. BRIT also offers... More
