We specialize in trail rides to places around the DFW Texas metroplex such as Rocking River M Ranch (along the Trinity River) Lake Grapevine, Copper Canyon, the Stockyards (Fort Worth), LBJ Grasslands (Decatur), and Ray Roberts. We have many trails to choose from, so your trail ride won't be the same every time you come riding with us. If you know of another set of trails in the DFW area you would like to ride, let us know and we will try to accommodate you. The horseback riding at each unique location is offered year round.

I found Agave online and when chatting with a local shop owner, he mentioned Christina was the best too, which makes you feel more trusting. She made our trip by accommodating a last minute request to ride. Trail was beautiful, saw deer and headed back under a full moon. I felt very comfortable with her horses.

This company is a diamond in the rough. Horses enjoy their work under their leader Cristina. Riders will have a wonderful experience regardless of riding level. Bring your common sense and prepare for a special time enjoying nature on a joyful and thinking horse.

The trail was very pretty and provided a lot of shade. Riding out to the lake was really nice. I was with someone that was not comfortable with horses. Cristina was very good at helping her calm down and enjoy the ride. The horses were very nice and easy to control. I will be recommending to friends. It was the... More

My partner and I went for a mid day ride with Agave early may. Was a good experience for a beginner rider and the area was very nice to look at. A good view over the lake was the best part. Must say did get a little boring in the middle. Think we did a 2 hour ride. Was a... More

Agave trail ride was perfect. Lake Grapevine is the perfect place to go horseback riding with fresh air and plenty of space to ride. Riding up to the lake was fantastic and watched the pelicans fly off was beautiful. Horses well cared for and Little Man, Cristina's cattle dog, was a great companion, romping in the lake. Well definitely make... More

Our group of 9 had a great experience with Cristina and her team at Agave Hurricane. The guides were friendly and informative. The horses looked to be well cared for. And best of all, their rates were quite reasonable compared to some of the other operators around Lake Grapevine. I highly recommend it!

I rode with several people who hadnt riden before and were a bit anxious. Cristina couldn't have been more patient and kind to them. At one point a child who was riding with her mommy was getting restless and Cristina offered to let her ride with her. When she let the child ride "up in front with the horsey lady"... More

Sad People have forgotten communication and commitment are important for anything and tossing comments for needs is COOL. Anyways, I have been atleast 3 times now my self and with my friends with Agave folks. The Trail rides near Grapevine lake is what I am used. AM rides and 4:00 PM rides are perfect for anyone who have atleast ever... More

This was a nice after Thanksgiving treat with my sister & her children. The horses were mild mannered & our guide gave lots of tidbits on the area of Southlake. Thanks Christina, looking forward to the next time.
