Went to ride the train. It was a do one time type attraction. It runs through the Trinty park. We got off on the return to play in the park and re boarded to go back to depot. It's ok to do once.

My cousin from NYC was visiting with his 3 year old son. The 3 year loves steam trains. The ride is about 40-45 minutes long. There is a short stop at the Trinity Depot, were you can buy popcorn and soda. Do suggest to sit in the last car. The first and second car, you get all the smoke from... More

This miniature railroad at Trinity Park is a great treat for the kids before going to the zoo. They have three different engines along with a dozen colorful passenger cars. The ride is three miles in total crossing the Trinity river multiple times. It runs through the trees and fields of Trinity Park at a pace that's fast enough for... More

We were starting to miss our morning walk so we went to the start of the Trinity walk path and walked about 6 miles roundtrip. We had a great walk along a concrete walkway. Beautiful weather and a beautiful river. There were a few homeless but they didn't seem interested in us.

Pack up your picnic, even grill items, and come to the neighborhood park near downtown Fort Worth. Bring your pets, outdoor sports, blankets, and coolers. There is a pretty pond on the Northwest end. The Trinity Trail runs all along the river for easy bike access. In the Summer, a small train takes visitors on a scenic journey around the... More

Take time to ride the old styled, small scaled, steam engine driven train which circles the park. The running trail winds along the Trinity River offering great skyline views and wildlife. My Grandkids spotted over 40 turtles basking on the opposite bank one morning. They also enjoyed the well planned, safe playground equipment.

Rent a bike from TRINITY BIKE SHOP, if you don't have one, and explore the 20+ miles of the mostly concrete trails. Ride through the park on the 2 mile loop, visit the Log Cabin Village, stop and eat at the food trucks, and ride uninterrupted further north and west.

Our family of four brought our bicycles here from nearby Grand Prairie for an enjoyable afternoon of riding the paved biking/walking/jogging trails. We have been here several times and enjoyed the ride each time. First we rode from Trinity Park into the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards, stopping in at the visitor's center and lunching at Cooper's BBQ adjacent to Billy... More
