There are many activities for children and adults. Canoeing, hiking trails, nature classes, interpretive center. It is one of the best kept secrets in Fort Worth.

Great trails, good hiking and biking. Lots of wildlife. Nice nature center with very good programs. They also have some guided kayaking tours. I haven't been on those but I would imagine they would be lots of fun.

Located on the far north outskirts of city bordering Lake Worth. Hiking trails and paths. Wildlife viewing. great for bird/ buttefly watchers. They do offer guided tours. Also they have buffalo wandering around

Bring snacks and binoculars when you visit the Nature Center. It's nice to have a nature getaway so close to the city. I love to hike and this place has wonderful trails and bonus wild animals. The buffalo are a sight to behold. The prairie dog colony is pretty cool but they can be hard to catch but such a treat when they are out and about.
