For a decidely east-coast/mid-western family with absolutely no rodeo experience, we were looking forward to attending a rodeo in the Dallas area. We were certainly glad we did. It was definitely an experience; the place certainly knows how to entertain. The building is certainly vintage, which adds to the experience. The rodeo competitions were certainly genuine, and actually was exciting... More

Nice rodeo, but then again I have not much to compare to, as it was my first time visit ever (and the only) to a such happening. I assume, I have been expecting much more, as in the end I wasn't quite impressed. It turned out to be somewhat boring show, with rodeo part being only a small part of... More

The rodeo was filled with thrills and spills! Bull riding, barrel racing and calf roping. Kids were invited into the arena to participate in calf herding. Something for everyone. The announcer acknowledged our group, 509th Vietnam Veterans which was an awesome salute. Thank you.

Family fun all the way. Fast paced and entertaining. I'm not a big rodeo person, but the kids (age 9 and 4) wanted to go. I have to admit it really was pretty good. We sat front and center, but no bad seats. Can't go wrong with cotton candy and ice cream. Only wish they had funnel cake. Also liked... More

The cowboy show was great for families and little kids. I'm biased and lived in CO and went to the BEST RODEO IN THE WORLD in up in WY so I had higher expectations that the average tourist.

This is a good first time Rodeo experience or just a fun evening. For $12.50 a person, don't expect experienced rodeo riders . There is not a bad seat in the house unless you spend extra for the "box" seats. Seated six in a very small cramped area. The long legged guys looked very uncomfortable. At the end of the... More

This was basically the birthplace of Rodeo. We had a great time! If you have never been to a rodeo this is a must do on your list. Buy your tickets ahead of time on ticketmaster and you can get front row seats. The day of the rodeo you need to go to the box office to buy tickets. During... More

Loved it! First time in Texas and this is totally a thing to do! They allow the kids to be part of the show, (they get to chase sheep). Very fun!!

Had guest from out of town and wanted to give them the Rodeo experience. This was a great affordable show to go and see. All seats are good so don't bother buying box seats. Only down side was the audio. Was hard to hear the announcer. Buy the three dollar program, it will give you an explanation of the events.... More
