The rodeo is a great experience even if you have lived here for a lifetime. Texas is known for our cowboys, you have to see them in action.

If you are from New York and have never seen a horse maybe this will be fun for you. If you want to see really authentic rodeo with really good performers go to Mesquite. Really poorly paced (slow, slow, slow). Nothing very exciting. Poor acoustics in a really old building. Can't hear anything the announcer is saying because of the... More

On our last vist to Texas, I visited Dallas, Arlington and Fortworth, The rodeo was reccomended to us, and I for one really enjoyed it, great atmosphere inside the arena especially when the Texan (anthem where everybody claps hands) was played, unknown to myself there's a bull run in the town during the day, hopefully I'll see this next time,... We had a blast! It's a great venue - all the seating had a good view - and you are close to the action. In fact, we got dirt flung on us from an unhappy horse! The announcer was fun and informative - especially nice if you are new to rodeo and/or the events. The competitors are not all at... More

This is a must-do on any trip to Fort Worth. Highly entertaining. Insightful as to the cowboy way of life. Definitely an experience.

It was OK, we found it well organized but missing a bit more professional riders and ropers, the most exciting of the night was the barrel racing. The good thing is that it is available year round, it just needs a little more to be an exciting experience.

Our first time at a rodeo and something I should of prepared the younger members of the family for. The rodeo did look and sound like the rodeo's I have seen on TV. It was very loud and to begin with quite exciting. However my family were shocked by some of the treatment of some of the animals especially the... More

Let me start off by saying that this literally was my first rodeo! I was in Fort Worth and heard about the Stockyards Rodeo. I convinced my son who reluctantly humored me by accompanying me to the rodeo(not generally his idea of fun). We went on a Friday night for the 8:00 show and we both had a great time!... More

We took our family to this rodeo for a Sat night 8:00 pm show and had a great time! I do wish we had arrived early to Fort Worth to walk along the streets. We had never been to a rodeo and loved seeing 'real' cowboys in an authentic competition. We arrived at 7:30 pm (30 min early) and found... More
