Stockyards rodeo is part of the larger stockyards station. This is a professional rodeo, with competitors travelling for miles. This is not a 'show' rodeo, with stunts put on for the audience. Lots of calf-roping, barrel racing, bronco and bull riding. My two teenage daughters loved it, especially the bull riding! They also get the little kids into the arena... More

If you want to try a rodeo and not spend a lot of money this is the place to go. We took our small granddaughters for their first rodeo and they loved it. Really feels like Texas and not just a rodeo. I believe it is the oldest indoor rodeo in the US. Small but does the job. No reservations... More

Decided to bring the grandsons for their first rodeo. They had a blast. Both had the chance to get in the arena and try to get the tape off the calf and sheep. Disappointed there was only three bull riders. Still it was a good experience for the boys and it had been a long long time since we had... More

There were a few pro rodeo cowboys & cowgirls & many who are just getting started. It is a good little rodeo overall. It is well done & is an appropriate length for the typical crowd it draws. This rodeo is a nice way for first time spectators to get their feet wet, especially since they explain to the audience... More

Caught some championship rodeo after dinner @ H3. Had never gone to the rodeo and that was a cool little event. Not your PBR but still a lot of fun! Venue is tiny and there is not a bad seat - many different events to see and have fun with a cold one too!

Programme prommised 10 bull rides. We got 3 in total for a combined bull riding time of less than 10 seconds in a 2 hour show. A bit of a rip off.

The atmosphere is worth experiencing. Love being surrounded by the history of the venue. Worth the money and time. Priced that you can bring the entire family.

What history looms in this venue!! The murals into the coliseum speak about the history of rodeo There is also a great pictorial/collection of artifacts also in the lower level which gives one the dynamic of this sport. As avid fans of rodeo, it was a great honor to view both nights of rodeo. From amateurs to seasoned riders, the... More

I went to see the rodeo while on a business trip. The surroundings are very nice as the stockyards kept the authentic 'cowboy vibe'. The rodeo show is a lot of fun - especially for someone who isn't local (and not even american) like me. Highly recommended!

In the Stockyards area of Ft. Worth, the historic Stockyard Rodeo provides an opportunity to celebrate the American Southwest heritage with bull riding, calf roping, and rodeo clowns. Intimate enclosed arena where sitting toward the north end of the arena is generally closer to the action.
