Real feel of Texas of old in the home of the first indoor rodeo arena. I recommend getting the reserved premium box seats...great leather seating in those. Talent is mediocre as far as rodeos go but we had a blast.

Most of the Fort Worth Stockyards is about bars and restaurants and shopping and not very "kid friendly", but the rodeo is the welcome exception to that. Great value and a lot of fun with the family. Went on a Saturday night and it was extremely crowded. The play is to buy the reserved box seats ahead of time online.... More

Went down on a Saturday night for something different. So much fun, good variety of events, and for 3 hours of entertainment I feel like a ~$23 VIP ticket with good seats was amazing value. We bought tix on the day and there was a bit of a queue so maybe buy online if you can. Right near heaps of... More

If you're not TOO sensitive about cowboys and bulls, then you should make it through this show. There's bucking broncos, bull riding, rodeo clowns, cattle wrangling, and everything that comes with it! Although they were quickly released, towards the end I got my fill of seeing the babies being wrangled during the competitions, but overall it was quite the experience.

My wife and I visited the Fort Worth Stockyards while in the Dallas area for a Cowboys game. This rodeo is longest running indoor rodeo, and many histotic events happened in the coliseum. Every seat in the house is a great view. I've seen rodeos in larger venues and haven't felt as close to the action. The rodeo announcer kept... More

If you have never seen the rodeo before then this is a must. There is not a bad seat in the house and lots of action. If you love the circus then you will love this. 10 out of 10!!!

Never really seen anything like this before with cattle, only horsemanship type rodeo in the UK. Not sure that I felt comfortable with the treatment on the Bulls and calves. Great horsemanship though and was impressed with this. God atmosphere and glad I did it. Not sure I would again...animal rights and all that. Saying that you should go if... More

My husband and I visited TX and wanted to experience a real life rodeo while we were here. We stayed in Dallas and drove here which wasn't far. We booked some reserved seats online, which was an easy process. Right from when we arrived we loved every minute. Parking nearby was just $5. We don't have anything like this in... More

Absolutely had to experience a rodeo whilst in Texas and the Stockyards rodeo was sensational. Held every Friday and Saturday evenings all year round, with the option for anyone to participate in the competition, local cowboys and cowgirls make this an authentic rodeo and not a rehearsed tourist trap. The bull riding was the biggest thrill, enjoyed the other events... More

My NYC kid was enthralled. He's ready to join up with the rodeo. If you have never been this is a must do. It's fascinating to see the skill, athleticism, communication, and tenacity both of the Cowboys and horses. I would go again in a New York minute. Kids get in free with paying adult. People watching is off the... More
