The bull riders fell off within a second and there was only too it did smell quite strong and the chairs in the boxes where cramped and not comfortable. It was worth it for the unique experience.

I am from Spain and it was my first time in a rodeo, and I found it really amusing. It was everything so traditional and the decorations outside they were great. I think it is a very recommendable experience.

If your visiting Dallas/Fort Worth and your looking for something to do on a Friday or Saturday night get yourself along to the Rodeo at the Stockyards, it's a decision you won't regret. My wife, daughter and myself were visiting friends in Dallas and they took us for a night at the Stockyards Rodeo. It was fantastic evening, great entertainment... More

In Scotland you don't much call for Rodeos (just kidding) but it was on my "to do list" if I ever went to Fort Worth which both my wife and I did recently and we stopped at the Rodeo on a Saturday night. It was full of everything and the announcer kept it going and was amazed at the effort... More

What fun! This is not a big competitive serious rodeo, although it attracts coyboys - and girls - from all over for practice. The announcer is a hoot. This is entertainment, no cruelty, great horses, great riders, lots of laughs and fun. Don't miss this, see it at least once.

Thanks to the Stock Yards Rodeo staff for their assistance getting my mobility scooter to our seats since the wheel chair lift was broken. It was July 4th, so there weren't many bucking riders, but lot's of roping events. Thanks again to the staff for acknowledging my relatives who came all the way from Germany to visit the Stock Yard... More

This had bull riding, calf roping and barrel racing. It was a full two hours long, and seemed repetitive and drawn out. It would have been more enjoyable if condensed into an hour or hour and a half. Also, dragging the roped calves around by their necks seems cruel to the uninitiated.

Endless fun. Definitely edge of your seat entertainment. And you can't help yourself, you're cheering and hollering for your favorites right away. A must do!
