The Fort Worth Zoo is a good, average, zoo. Great place to spend the day. Take the kids to. No Problems. Good Food. Easy parking. Would be happy to go back!!

This was by far the best zoo we've been to in awhile. We loved the elevated walkways as it allowed you to see into the exhibits better. This puts the Dallas Zoo to shame! Lots of mature foliage and layout is very well put together. The Texas Exhibit reminded me a lot of the Oklahoma Trails in Oklahoma City. Only... More

I've been coming here for a long time and never tire or get bored with it as it is truly an amazing zoo. The animal spaces are amazing and designed with the animals in mind (this was sadly not always so at the zoo). There are many themed areas (Africa, Asia, Australia, etc..) and they are designed to look like... More

The Fort Worth Zoo has always been a place that me and my mom frequent. We became zoo members and it has saved us money every time that we visit. I mean you save $5 every time on parking for members! We always go early and never have an issue with it being crowded. This is inexpensive compared to its... More

They have a huge selection of animals and exhibits but it is very pricey. The fees start in the parking lot and continue to be pretty unreasonable throughout. My kids did enjoy it so we will go back but it will have to be a ones a year treat.

Traveling the country, I always try to make the zoo scene and the Botanical Gardens, todays trip to the Fort Worth Zoo was an amazing experience (the only thing missing was my granddaughter). All the zoo employees I encountered were so helpful and friendly. The $12 admission was definitely worth it. There was a lot of walking (which I love... More

This is the place to bring the family on a nice day! The price was amazing, the animals were amazing! The only thing that was NOT amazing was the $3.00/water bottle, I really thought i was a a zoo like Toronto, Canada it was small, but i did not seem small it was huge and amazing. i will definitely go... We took relatives from England who were impressed. The price for tickets is reasonable but they really get you on the parking. The weather cooperated as it can during Texas winters and it was a most pleasant day. We tend to avoid going during the heat of Summer. You can easily spend an entire day there because there is so... The Fort Worth Zoo is Nationally Recognized for the quality and diversity but the rankings really don't capture the "home town" components that it also offers. Something we learned through a friends recommendation was to actually join the zoo. The single biggest benefit was the awareness it created of all the great activities going on (most of which we simply... More
