This zoo was one of the most educational and interactive that I have been to... it was just the right size as well with plenty of shade! Loved it!

This zoo is huge, there are so many things to look at. We spend 4 hours here and still didn't get to see everything. I can't wait to go back! The train was a highlight for the kids!

This is an award winning zoo. We enjoy the Komodo dragon and other exotic animals. Check website, Wednesdays are usually half price!

I think this is my favorite zoo. All of the animals had large areas except for one bear that paced and made a weird noise. The animals here are unique and not a lot of zoos can compete with the diversity.

I have visited this zoo many times over the years. The well established landscaping creates a lush environment to wander through while viewing the critters. The staff seemed very service oriented and were knowledgeable about any of the animals we saw. Great price for a nice-sized zoo.

This is our favorite zoo so far, followed closely by the Bronx Zoo. (Although we have not done the San Diego Zoo yet). Well kept, clean, the animals looked healthy & happy and the enclosures are designed to allow for very close up views of the animals. There is also a fantastic area for toddlers & small children to play,... More

Unlike many zoos this place was spotlessly clean. Most animals had sufficient room and natural elements although the elephants appeared stressed and big cats seemed constrained. White tiger, condors, lions, gorillas including a silverback were all out and about (weather was perfect). A long walk from the overflow parking lot could have been avoided if staff kept on top of... It is no San Diego Zoo, but a clean family place. Was bigger and better than I expected when we went. Check for ticket discounts to make it more affordable.

Beauitful zoo. THe animals were very active which was nice! It wasn't packed and they have a nice little indoor play area for the kids. The giraffe exhibit was probably our favorite! But they were all very nice and well taken care of. If you don't like the standard cafe/zoo food, they have a burger king and pizza hut there... More

The Zoo is in the same area as the Botanical Gardens with wonderful landscaping, and lots of areas you can sit and enjoy the zoo. The animals are in their nature habitat.
