Fun experience. I would just avoid the flamingo area. It smells quite a bit. But everything else was pretty awesome. There was a lot of diversity in animals and some kids were roaring at one of the lions and it was roaring back at them for about 5 minutes.

One of the best zoo visited so far. Museum of Living Art (MOLA) section was our favorite where we saw Komodo Dragons. Very clean with lots of plants and animals which makes it worth the visit. Easily we could spend a day... :)

Maybe there is a better zoo in the world, but I haven't seen it. I have been to some top zoos in the states and even one in the rainforest of Costa Rica, and this zoo is top notch! The one in Costa Rica was close, but for the general care of the animals and the sheer size and number... More

We have been to the Fort Worth Zoo three times now. Every day there are stage shows, and throughout the year the zoo offers special events that are great for the whole family or just for a couple. Next up is the Mother's Day Brunch. A wonderful part of this zoo is the Native Texas area. This natural preserve of... More

We live an hour from the zoo so we have a membership. We have never grown tired of visiting over and over again. The staff is knowledgeable, the exhibits are beautiful and the animals are always close and happy. The Asian Elephants are our favorites and we spend a lot of time watching them interact with each other! The nice... More

This zoo is amazing !!! I really enjoy the layout of the zoo, easy to walk even with small children , the animals at the zoo are seen in excellent condition and the employees are very friendly and helpful. I recommend between 2 1/2 - 3 hours to really see everything and shop around . Love the Texas section!!!

The Fort Worth Zoo is one of the best for a small town zoo. We went there on Christmas Day with the family and enjoyed every bit of it. Because it is small, you are able to go through the whole zoo in just a few hours which is great if you are short on time or have small children... More

My family and I are zoo-nuts and have been to zoos in every major city in the U.S.. The Ft. Worth Zoo is one of the best we've seen. It's compact, yet doesn't feel cramped or crowded, even when the parking lots are full. There are wheelchairs and scooters for the handicapped and strollers for infants and toddlers. The zoo... We went to the Fort Worth Zoo on a beautiful 80 degree day and had a wonderful time. We panicked a bit when we first arrived at 10:00am and saw 10 school buses lined up in the parking lot, but we were able to avoid the masses of children and they were all gone by 1pm. We go to a... More

After driving around for a half hour, we gave up and went home. Boo! Sunday afternoons are very busy. Learned that lesson. We'll be there when it opens next time.
