This zoo was incredible! Visiting zoos is my favorite thing to do, and Fort Worth tops the list of impressive zoos. I was most excited about seeing the penguins but all the animals are great. The elephant enclosure is huge and it was fun watching them play in the water. Everyone should visit this zoo!

Fort Worth Zoo has always been my favorite place to take my kids too. Well spread, affordable, good train ride and my favorite Nacho place. My two cents is- avoid going on obviously good days for visiting the zoo. It does get crowded at times.

Larger than we had expected with a lot of animals to see. Well kept up and the animals seemed well cared for and content. We went on a cloudy weekday and it was almost empty and easy to walk through. Spent about two a half hours touring.

I grew up down the street from here, and I've seen many changes take place. This zoo has become world-class in my opinion. There's a lot of great things about this zoo, but I'll keep this review short and sweet. The new aquarium is great. They've got Australian salt-water crocs, the kind you read about every year that kill people... More

This zoo is huge, we were exhausted after walking the whole length. Well worth the time and money to spend an afternoon touring around.

This is one of the best Zoo's that we have been to. There is a large variety of different animals, and such. The animals and the zoo itself seems to be be very well kept and animals are not caged in small areas.

Great place to take the family. Great exhibits and family friendly. Easy to walk around at the zoo. People were able to see and pet certain animals depending on time of day.

This was our first visit to this zoo and I must say it was breath taking. It was over 95 degrees today but the zoo is mostly shaded and had several cooling stations. The exhibits were some of the best I have ever seen. The large cat enclosure was a work of art. There are several food and beverage stations... More
