Fun for the whole family. This zoo is set up perfectly. Animals close enough for even small children to be able to see and experience. Can say enough wonderful things about the Fort Worth Zoo.

Great variety of animals from around the world. Texas Wild exhibit featuring wildlife found in Texas. Food court, train ride, and pleasant walking paths.

This is one of the best Zoos I have been to. The animal exhibits were as close to their own habitat as possible. If the animals liked water, they had little pools/ponds in their area, abundance of trees, goats had rocky mountains. Simply beautiful. My daughter had a cast on her leg and borrowing a wheel chair was so simple... More

This was a pleasant zoo experience and not so large that you can't wait until you have seen it all and go home. Loved the food options and that it was normally priced. Thank you for the military discount. Much appreciated.

Beautifully designed so that all exhibits can be seen without having to double back along paths already traveled. Tasteful landscaping enhances the experience. Wonderful variety of animal species some of which are endangered and not usually seen in zoos. At the far end of the zoo is where their cafeteria and gift shop are; however, they are cleverly disguised as... More

I have been to many zoos around the country but this one ranks near or at the top. It is clean and the animal displays are awesome. The animals are happy and well taken care of. The number of different species is overwhelming and the cost to visit is very competitive. A great visit.

This was a nice zoo that was well maintained and had a lot of shade to walk in during summer. It was awesome being able to see the elephants so close (and several other animals). The kids enjoyed it too and we will definitely be going back. We have been to the zoo in Dallas, Oklahoma city, Tulas, and other... More

I had seen that the Ft. Worth zoo was ranked in the top and really wanted to check it out. First of all, it is really pretty. Nestled in the trees with lots of flowers, landscaping is very well done. The grounds are very well kept and the buildings are all nice. Cute little areas and shops also. I really... More

This zoo is a nice zoo and a great place to take the kids. Summer is not really the best time to go as it is usually so hot that a lot of the animals are iinside where it's cool and if outside, they are lethargic. Still, the cats play and the zoo keepers do a good job of entertaining... More

We visited on a Thursday, just after the end of the school holiday's so it lovely and quiet at the zoo. I'm not sure if we missed out therefore on some of the talks or shows (one area for holding talks/shows was closed) but as we are more than happy to wander around and take it all in without the...
