This zoo is the best.

The Fort Worth Zoo is constantly improving and is the best one in Texas. I have loved this zoo for 30 years and it only gets better.

We are new zoo members and have been more than pleased so far. The grounds are beautiful, and the animals are not trapped in tiny cages. My only complaints are the lack of restrooms throughout and the lackluster petting zoo. Perhaps we've been at the wrong time of day, but where I'm from, a petting zoo has more than one... More

We are members of the Fort Worth Zoo and go often. Most recently, we've experienced the new Safari Splash Park. It is first rate! We also love the train, carousel, and play barn. My son is 3 years old, so every time we go, he discovers something new. It's a must do!

It is a great place to spend the day with the kids. My daughter loves animals, and one of her favorite places is The Mola at the FW Zoo. They have all the reptiles in there. She got to pet a snake the last time we were there. Wednesdays are half price.

Fort Worth Texas has an excellent city zoo. Parking and pricing were very reasonable considering the large variety of animals. We took our Granddaughter Mila but she was a little young at the time. We will make this a yearly event and I recommend to family's!

We are members at the FW Zoo and go there almost every Saturday and Sunday all year long (weather permitting). Seasoned visitor tip - arrive first thing in the morning to avoid the crowds. We usually are there as soon as the gates open and leave just before lunch to get kids home to eat and take their nap, usually... More

I love the Fort Worth Zoo. It's just large enough to have a great day looking at the animals, but you don't feel like you have hiked 20 miles to do it. I absolutley love the Gorillas, their enclosure is super cool, inside a dome. There's a great mix of animals to see. The only thing I don't like is... More

Enjoyed a visit to the zoo w my two granddaughters. Beautiful and interesting settings to pique their interest and the kid's section at the end is well worth the hike. They had a blast!

Although I visited the zoo In Philadelphia where the oldest zoo in America is, I really like this zoo. They are opening a new exhibit. The animals always seem to be active. I would suggest that you do not go during the week of spring break in Texas as it is always crowded that week and on Wednesday of spring... More

We went on a Saturday morning; on a beautiful May day. What were we thinking?!!? The parking lot was so packed we had to park in a field! I was ready to leave, but decided to go for the kiddos. I'm glad we did. It was busy, but the zoo is able to absorb a bunch of people. It didn't... More
