I was really excited about going to this theater. I went to this theater for the first time last night which was a horrible experience. There were a bunch of creepy people. Women in lingere and men in only underwear and socks. I expected more from this movie theater. The pictures online made the theater look really nice and it... More

This theater is in a trendy area of Dallas. Plenty of parking in garages. The service there was excellent. I bought tickets for the wrong time, they fixed it, then brought me popcorn to improve the experience. Very helpful and friendly. I'm very tall, and the seats were a little close like airline seats, but I didn't care. Good movies... More

Magnolia is a family favorite for seeing indie movies or enjoying a night in Dallas's beautiful West Village! The seats are really comfortable, tickets aren't outrageous (student discount gets you child's price!) and for the adults, they have a full service bar! Kudos to Rex, one of their great employees, who's been working the host stand every time I've been... More

The Magnolia is the perfect place for adults to see a movie near downtown Dallas. If you can snag the time for a matinee during the week even better as it isn't too crowded. Seats are comfy, you can book your seat ahead of time or if not too crowded find the perfect seat upon arrival. Adult beverages are available... More

....because they have some goofy system that you must choose your seats before even walking into the theater. Look, one reason my wife and I like to go to afternoon movies is so we can sit where we aren't sandwiched in between strangers. Spread out. Cross your legs. Put your coat and purse on the seat next to you. Avoid... More

After attending many movies at Magnolia Theatre I can say that it's one of my favorite places to catch a film. Usually, at the start of the film an employee dictates his welcome to The Magnolia and notifies the crowd of any upcoming events at the theatre which is always refreshing. Seats are comfortable and you can choose which seats... More

Favorite theater in Dallas to see a movie. If you want to see a movie in a more adult environment this is your place - alcohol is available and few children. Plus, movies showing are not those typically shown at the big mega cinemas so a nice diverse selection. You can reserve your seat, enjoy a comfy chair in a... More

Love this movie theater which has good matinee and student specials. Parking can be difficult as it is located in the very busy West Village, but worth the trip! If you are looking for the harder to find independent films and documentaries this is your place:) Rarely do I see kids in this movie theatre which is nice when you... More

This is my favorite theater. The seats are very comfortable and the popcorn is high quality and fresh. My husband likes that we can come early, pick out our seats, go have a meal at a nearby restaurant and return to the theater just before the movie starts. There is a full bar - so you can take your favorite... More

My husband and I found ourselves in the Dallas, Texas area with a few hours to kill and decided to see a movie. Unfortunately, the one we wanted to see was an independent film and was showing only at this theater. It's nestled in the downtown area of Dallas in the West Village shopping Center surrounded by plentiful designer shops... More
