We went here last Saturday night, and I was impressed with the short lines and efficient security checks (versus the Staples Center). It was well organized with lots of food vendors and stores, like any other sports arena. Although we were in the 300s section, we had a great view of the ice and enjoyed the game.

Hubs and I frequent here for events - It is big so ask for help in locating your seat. A ton of concessions. if you get wait service be warned that there are only a few items on the list and they no longer have the jumbo dogs they used to sell- hot dogs now are pretty awful.

Have seen a few concerts here and I have to say I love the area and how easy it is get to. Pay for parking at the Audi garage...worth it. Also get there early and eat at one of the fabulous restaurants nearby. We love Olivellas Neo Pizza...yum! Restroom lines actually aren't too bad food and drinks easy to get.... More

Great venue for sports but acoustics for concerts are lacking. Accessible from DART for easy access.

It was packed almost sold out and they didn't have all the venders open to allow us more eating options. I hope the next concert will cause them to open more and give us more options.

American Airlines Center is a fabulous place for a rock concert. It has a perfect view to enjoy the concert no matter where you are seating, and the atmosphere of the venue is really cool. The staff is really nice, they make sure you enjoy the event you are attending to, and to see there Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers... More

Saw Tom Petty last week. Show was fantastic. Appears to really enjoy what he does up there on the stage, even after 40 years. Seats were GOOD - straight view of stage from 112-R-19 & 20. Funny how you can't get GREAT seats these days immediately upon opening of sales! BTW, I'm not laughing. Been to many concerts, with seats... More

This is a great place for a concert - not sure about basketball or hockey stuff though. Has a real big bar on the second floor.

I just went to a concert at the American Airlines Center this past Friday night and I was pleasantly surprised! For how massive this venue is, it is extremely well organized. The seating section rows are short enough that you don't have to crawl over fifty people just to exit your seat. Bathrooms were plentiful, clean and strategically located for... More

The American Airlines Center is smart enough to turn all bathrooms to women when it is a women's conference. It was easy to use the facilities among such a large group for an all day conference. Women of Faith did a great job! The vendors were so friendly and what great seats.
