For out of towners, this area is very confusing. Parking is very limited. Not sure I would come back and try to figure this out. It is definitely for the younger generation.

All kinds of shopping and food options in this neighborhood. Note that Knox is on the western side of 75 and Henderson is on the eastern side. Food options range from inexpensive to very high end. This is a popular place to hang out. Henderson spreads from the edge of McMillan and Henderson to 75, whereas Knox is more compact... More

I hate to give a poor review when the idea behind Again and Again is amazing. Unfortunately, I took a very expensive vintage tapestry I purchased in Spain to them to have turned into pillow. They 'lost' it. At some point they told me they 'found' it. They 'lost' it again. I have finally (after two years) concluded that perhaps... More

Went to Weir's Furniture store which may be the largest retail store in the area just to browse, buy some stamps at their little in store post office and get a 25 cent bag of popcorn. The sales people are very nice and polite and you can browse to your heart's content. Parking both out front on the street and... More

Really all it is, is a collection of stores and restaurants bisected by a loud and not particularly pretty highway. It is not Klyde Warren Park. There are a few places that make the area worthwhile - on the lower end you have Highland Park Pharmacy which deserves its own entry - you can sit at an old fashioned lunch... More

Recently my family and I visited this little miracle mile in Northeast Dallas. Boy it has changed so much since I lived there. It is very trendy and busy. Congested I would say. If you can park further north of I75 and ride the train to the neighborhood. i would suggest it. Great boutique shops and foodie restaurants. great place... More

I think this is a 'hip' scene but I do not think it is too hip for the 'seasoned.' I like the fact that the strip is not overwhelmingly long and that the range of restaurants is great - from chains like Chili's to independent fun/good restaurants like Wild about Harry's, Highland Park Soda Fountain, Sissy's, etc. I find that... Great location for locals yet a really nice area for visitors for a one stop shopping, eating and the Katy Trail runs right behind this area. There are numerous shopping places from Apple store, Crate and Barrel, Lululemon, Pottery Barn, Dallas's own Wier's Furniture, Sur La Table, etc. Numerous places to eat from Starbucks to Harry's for hot dogs and... So Knox-Henderson is kind of the real version of what has become the common place fake generic suburban mixed use shopping area. I don't have anything against the suburban masterplanned mixed use area but the old organic version has a better feel. Knox-Henderson has inexpensive restaurants, fancy restaurants, chains, mom/pop, furntiture stores, toy stores, an Apple Store, etc, etc. Some... More
