This is where I go when I want to watch a really good movie - not just the latest blockbuster, but one of those Oscar-worthy, life-changing movies.

If you are looking for something different than your typical wide release flick then check out the offerings here! Great local to catch dinner or a drink after and easily accessible from the DART train. Seats are comfy.

Almost two months after its release, a film I had wanted to see had disappeared out of regular cinema rotations. Delighted to discover it was still being shown here, I rushed over to catch the 10:10PM showing ($11.00) of Begin Again starring Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo. Arriving some 30 minutes prior to the start time, I made my way... More

This theater usually has movies you can't find elsewhere and the atmosphere is very nice - quiet, comfortable, relaxing, clean, and the best "movie food" out there :-) (though one pays for it dearly)

This is where we go when we want to watch a great Indy Film, in comfortable chairs and want to go out for a nice date night afterwards. This is a great spot but our favorite is the Angelika in Plano at Legacy

We love the Angelika and go there often. They play all kinds of movies that don't play in other theaters and along with the typical ones that are playing everywhere. They have excellent coffee drinks and beer and wine and some pretty decent popcorn too. Get on their email list and they send you offers to get into some free... More

We have been here twice already in the last 1.5 weeks that we are here in Dallas. They have great movies, all indie stuff, hence most movies are nice, the USP is u can take ur drinks up to the theater, nice seats too. When you come out, there's lots of places for good grub, and some of them open... More

The Angelica is probably the most sophisticated place to see a movie in Dallas..it and The Magnolia. The theatre is located in the Mockingbird Station shopping center and is surrounded by shops and restaurants. The theatre itself serves small bites and beer and wine. The patrons are a bit more sophisticated than at other theatres and disruptions during viewing (cell... More
