We visited the Angelika again to see the "Great Gatsby" movie in 3D, great theater (and amazing movie by the way!), the sound is very good and the seats are most comfortable. The concession stand is OK, nothing to rave about, why is purified bottled water so wretchedly expensive?

Love that this theater shows different "indie" films but you can usually still find semi-regular movies here too. Atmosphere is nice. Bathrooms are cleaner than the 30+ screen cinaplexes around Dallas, which is a big deal to us girls. An added perk: beer & wine at the snack bar to go with your popcorn. Who doesn't love that?

In Mockingbird Station, close to rail and a nice little shopping center with some good shops and restaurants. And Angelika shows some independent and foreign films, in addition to mainstream films.

I went to this theater for the first time because I had free passes for a screening of Disconnect which I really wanted to see. That was my motivation to go because I knew the theater was located in Mockingbird Station which is a crowded area. Parking can be tricky for first timers until you get the lay of the... More

I love the fact that I can see a lot of the current films that don't make standard multiplex distribution. The location is great, too, with lots of restaurants and parking at hand.

Neither Angelika has a senior citizen discount. All matinees are $9. When my friend and I both spoke with management, they sounded like they had the empathy and business acumen of 12 year olds. If I am going to spend $9 for a matinee I will just go to the Inwood Theater, where at least they demonstrate a modicum of... More

A new soon to be released film with Rosario Dawson as the Hypnotist Therapist who can bring 5 men into a mind blogging experience, A definite intriguing film with a surprise ending and mind twisting action. Angelica is easy to get to on Dart, covered parking and elevators for handicapped people.

The Angelika is in a fun area near an Irish Pub and several restaurants. The parking is easy - either park in the garage underneath, or next door by the DART rail. There is also a restaurant/bar in the theater - so that makes it even better. They run foreign films as well as box office hits. They are a... More

Cleaner, better decor, more modern and only the best in cinema. I love to see flicks a the Angelika. They have good popcorn, too. It's nice to have a beer with your movie, instead of a soda.
