If you like Art Films you will enjoy! Not your run of the mill main stream films. Usually not too crowded and discreet theaters.

Clean modern movie theater in which to enjoy low-circulation films. Nice added feature...they sell beer and wine!

My wife and I had a "date night" Saturday night; dinner at the East Hampton Sandwich Company in Snider Plaza and a movie at Mockingbird Station at the Angelika. Despite the many dining venues at Mockingbird Station, we had been to almost all and chose to visit another for the first time in Snider Plaza in Park Cities, only a... More

We recently spent a day celebrating our anniversary which started out at Norma's cafe for breakfast, then on to the Angelika for a movie. The movie was not great, which probably was the primary reason for the bad review. I bought a 7.00 icee, and a 12.00 medium bag of popcorn. The place was almost deserted. I think they are... More

Overall the Angelika is a cute little theater in Mockingbird station. It's a nice place to go on a date since it isn't your run of the mill movie theater, it has a little more character and a bonus is they have a full bar! However, it could definitely use a little face lift. When we went to a movie... More

Angelika and its sister movie house in Plano always have a good mix of current films. Everyone of their theaters has great seating, and brilliant sound. The snack bar is complimented with really fair selection in the bar. Both are located in the shopping districts with a good choice of restaurants for eith before or after a movie.

The Angelika always has something to offer, from first run movies, to special screenings of different things like the Bolshoi Ballet, to simulcasts of television shows. They are very community minded, and the theater is always fun to visit, especially when they are having a costume affair.

I was with girl friends. We had eaten dinner at Urban Taco before then walked over to the theater for a documentary. Both new experiences. I highly recommend both. Go see for yourself, you will probably like it!

Love this theater that place independent films. Great food right nearby. Great bars to hang out in after the show. And right on the DART line!
