Food, drinks, and great live jazz. What else do you need? We arrived late on a Saturday and got to hear the last set of a band whose name I don't recall. I love the HOB atmosphere, and highly recommend this one to traveling jazz aficionados.

Saw a show here in May. We had so much fun. The sound system was great. The food and drinks are a bit expensive. Helpful staff. The restroom is small. It's in downtown so, no free parking.

Attended a private function - great music, live band and the food was very good for banquet style. Attentive staff as well. Worth the visit!

When I hear Kirk Franklin I think and expect a huge mass choir. Instead they basically had an average sounding praise team singing some songs. The praise team at my church could have probably done better. And to top it off they only performed for an hour, which including them taking mini talking breaks throughout. Definitely not what I was... More

Hi Ashley, I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the performers we had for the Gospel Brunch you attended. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the food though. We change performers quite often and try to list online. If you have any recommendations on talent we'd love to hear them and we'd even be willing to reach... More

Saw Chevelle at House of Blues!! It was a great venue to see a great band!! Plenty of bar access......super clean restrooms....lots of space to move around! I would see another show there in the future!

This is a great place to see concerts. If you want to pay top dollar, you can get a great seat in the balcony. If you only pay General Admission, you will have to battle the crowd to even see. There are seats in the back that don't do anything but seat you. If you make your way to the... More

Hey Jill, Thanks for the review and the kind words. Totally understand your issues with the GA, it can be frustrating sometimes for the sold out shows. I'd recommend the VIP Tables on the Music Hall floor as opposed to the balcony seating. The VIP Tables allow you to still be close to the artist but you have plenty of... More

My wife and I went to the HOB to see St. Vincent. The show itself was great but had nothing to do with the venue. Starting with the restaurant itself , the waiters seemed to have more important things to do than wait on you. Several times I had to ask another waiter to refill a drink or even get... More

I have never found HOB to be very interesting, since they are all the same. It has become the Hard Rock Cafe of live music venues. Parking is not always easy down there--if you use a meter, then you might run out of time during a concert. Valet is $15. I think their drinks are completely over-priced, but that's what... More

Hi Margaret, I'm sorry to hear about your recent experience at HOB Dallas. Next time for parking I suggest one of the lots around us. There's a underground parking garage across the street called the House with $5 parking if over 2hrs and under 2hrs is free. There's also a lot behind the venue that starts at $3 for a... More
