The thing that I like about the HOB is that no matter where you are, you are still pretty close to the band. However, there are several spots near the back with views blocked by the support pillars. There isn't anything they can do about that, but you do have to find a good spot to be in if you... More

My husband and I love upscale dining and were excited to try the Foundation Room. This is a members-only club and we were on the guest list. The only good part about our visit was the atmosphere which was very nice. The service was mediocre and the food was just OK. Nothing stood out positively and no one made us... More

Drinks were way overpriced and staff in VIP section was rude except for our waitress who was a sweetie!

As always, the HoB is an excellent venue for live music. Good sound and great lines of sight. Plenty of bars and waitresses.

Traveling from Calgary, I googled what's on in Dallas and found out about the Pre-show for inside the huddle and lots of fun. Awesome Balinese bar, great service and Meomi Pinot noir wine at the bar 😛

Went to concert (Sam Smith) at the HOB Dallas. I would have valet parked, but the line was backed up more than a block long. Nearest parking to the venue was more than two blocks away under a freeway. Access to venue was easy. We had drinks and dessert in the restaurant prior to the show. They were a little... More

Had a great time with my uncle and a few friends here. We saw one of my Uncle's Friend's cover bands and it was pretty sweet. Great venue. One reason you may find it is closed to alkinss is that they are a venue and may be sold out of tickets.

Tried to visit twice, once on a Friday night and once on a Saturday afternoon, only to be rudely told by staff that it was closed for a private party both times. Go to Dicks Last Resort opposite instead, they're friendly, it's well priced and they have the unique approach of opening to let customers in.

Hi, I'm very sorry about your recent disappointing visit to House of Blues Dallas. Unfortunately some nights we do have private parties where a company has decided to rent out our restaurant and sometimes even our entire venue. You can always call ahead to check about a night you're interested in visiting or I would suggest checking on OpenTable.com and... More

We recently saw Theory of a Deadman here and it was great. The venue is small, maybe 1000-1500 people max but every seat in the house is great. We were in the last row of the balcony (L) and loved it. Right by the bar, great view of stage, easy access to restrooms. We really enjoyed it.
