Because of politics Dallas now has only two professional sports team, the Stars and the Mavericks and of course neither use the Cotton Bowl. An attempt to have the new Cowboy Stadium in downtown Dallas in the area of the Farmer's market was fought extensively by a former mayor. This is an old facility that has gone through numerous attempts... More

I went to the Heart of Dallas Bowl on 12/26/14. I loved walking through the fairgrounds to get to the stadium. When you get there it is old but was built well and is not run down and very clean. I liked the fact that you are almost on the field, the stadium holds like 90,000 people and I think... More

This place is so old its ridiculous. From the entrance to the restrooms. It seems like the place was lost in time. Needs a major renovation soon. Don't get me started on the location of this place. Its like the worst area in Dallas. Dallas nice, this place not so much

ran in a 5k that started and ended at the 50 yard line of the Cotton Bowl. Have always wanted to see this iconic stadium. she is a historic jewel. doesnt have all the amenities of newer stadiums - but it makes up for it in charm. very good site lines. place is kept very clean.

What a great game this 2015. This is the best stadium in country. A bit on expensive side, parking ,food and drinks, but facility is the very best , good event staff and security. You will definitely enjoy the first College Bowl playoff Championship ,January 12,2015.

This was the first time my wife and I had been to this stadium. The Stadium isn't located in the most beautiful area of the city if you enter as we did off Interstate 30 at exit 48B headed East. We parked in parking lot number 11 and entered the stadium through Gate G. The walk from the parking lot... More

We were in Dallas for the 12/26 Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl game. Of course we sat wih all our LA Tech friends on the East Side of the stadium. The stadium is in the middle of Fair Park (also the home of the Texas State Fair) and also accessible via Dart ( we took the train from West End... More

Don't know if it was rush hour traffic or just traffic for the soccer game we went to but we were stuck in traffic for almost 3 hours and missed the first 30 minutes of the game. The stadium was nice it was just very, very difficult to get to.
