The adjacent OMNI is awesome, nice meeting rooms, good coffee shop and quiet. The convention center is loud, the meeting rooms were old and depressing; wifi (or the network capacity) was almost non-existent. The bathrooms were not the cleanest and the food was appallingly bad. It's only apparent advantage is that it is enormous and in Dallas.

This place is HUGE! I felt like a country bumpkin trying to figure my way around it. Put your walking shoes on because it's a lot of walking from here to there, EVEN TO THE BATHROOMS...which makes no sense to me in a convention center. For the size of a small neighborhood (lol), there were 3 women's restrooms with 6-8... More

Loved this convention center. Very large exhibitor floor and celebrity autographing area. Great job on layout and space. DART runs right next door which is great. Plenty of places to eat surrounding the area. Lots of bathrooms which is a must for 60,000 people descending upon the convention center, never had to wait in line (women's bathroom, that is unheard... More

We spent the weekend at the convention center for a large volleyball tournament. I was disappointed in the restroom facilities. They did not smell clean and often had no toilet paper. I would think the center would have adequately staffed for a group as large as the Lone Star Qualifier tournament. Also, when your entire facility is filled with athletes,... More

Attended Truck-show and Trade convention Mid America Truck show it had spacious accommodations with a friendly staff. The parking and getting around can be confusing due to lack of information signs. Overall it was a great place to hold business meetings and see industry new products. The food was over priced and not as appealing as you would hope.

The Dallas Convention Center is a very large venue and can accommodate many things going on at the same time. I attend the Mary Kay convention annually and I know the center can accommodate thousands of people at one time. It is adequately divided into meeting halls and classrooms, accommodates large crowds in the arena and an "expo" in another... More

I spent quite a few hours at the Dallas Convention Center last weekend for a 3 day NCA cheer competition. First of all, let me say that this place was crowded. There were thousands of cheerleaders and even more spectators. With the pure volume of people, you would think the management of the Dallas Convention Center would have brought in... More

We went to NCA cheer comp there also, but we didn't even try to drive there. We stayed at Spring Valley Station in Richardson and rode the train there and back and to the west end. As far as the convention center, it was ok. There were some good food choices- we went to the place that had sandwiche wraps... More

Just returned from an NCA cheer competition at this convention center. This was a HORRIBLE venue!! We have been to many shows in smaller areas that were better prepared than this place was. The bathrooms were never maintained - they ran out of toilet paper throughout the venue so people were using paper towels and toilet seat covers (as finding... More

Visited Dallas Convention Center for a national cheerleading competition. The event occupied the entire center. While it was a mostly enjoyable event, we had some difficulties experienced. The good: - Main hall was spacious and had a great atmosphere for a cheer competition - Several hotels within walking distance The bad: - Poor to non-existent lunch choices inside the convention...
