If you want to buy one, a building with your (or your company) name on it is available. Library is outdated to the point of embarassment. Pretty campus, and something in the water makes all the sorority girls buy black BMW's. The Pres. Geo. W. Bush Library is under construction, but seems far too large for the collection. I went to SMU - it is in arguably the nicest area - University Park and Highland Park - of all of Dallas. I personally like the homes on Swiss Avenue better - but just my opinion. As far as the Park Cities area - this is the area that the new ABC show - GCB - centers in on.....and... More

Best school in the area, and arguably Texas. The campus is gorgeous and taking a stroll down Bishop Boulevard is always nice and peaceful. There are a lot of restaurants around the area, too, that have been in the area for a long time (like Goffs). There's a museum on campus and a church across the street. Perkins Chapel is... More

SMU attracts a number of prominent guest speakers, some through sponsored lectures. They ussually have some interesting viewpoints given in talks on campus. Also, the Meadows Museum is worth a visit. More

SMU is located in a very cramped neighborhood that leaves little in the way of expansion. Buildings are crowed together in a small area which is them surrounded by many business. More

We've done 37+ on-campus college visits from Maine to California. SMU is one of top 5 for visual appeal. Game day boulevard tailgate parties are a sight to see - trailered BBQ rigs with HDTVs, silver candelabras More

SMU is a pretty school, it's surrounded by suburban areas such as the wealthy Highland Park. it's close to downtown dallas which is nice. traffic isn't too bad during rush hour times (compared to the horrendous d.c. traffic). The westin at the galleria is a great location for shopping since the westin is CONNECTED to the mall! this mall is... More
