Very good selection of mainly designer shops in a nice village atmosphere. Parking was no problem and the shops were surprisingly quiet.

Highland Park is the place to go for luxury shopping in Dallas. Also take a ride down Preston Road to see the mansions there.

Still most pretentious as it was almost 50 years ago when we lived nearby as students at SMU. Had a hard time finding a parking place for our Lexus among the Mercedes, Audis, BMW's, and Range Rovers.

This shopping center has hoity toity shops and the clientele to match it. It's next to impossible to find a parking place. But the barbershop is fabulous, and very reasonable especially for this location.

I stayed with family for a week in Highland Park and what a great place it is, nice and quiet, neighbourhood friendly and it all looks beautifully kept. To top it off you have Highland Park Village with friendly designer shops, good restaurants and a handy supermarket which sells everything and has fresh fish and meat counters too. The wine... More

I have driven down and done some careful shopping. I feel that is is a bit "nose in the air" place but sometimes you can find a bargain if you need that "something" special and can hold your own against the rich folks.
