Nice place to take a walk.

Came here by accident, and had a good walk around the lake. Nice sunsets in the afternoon. Bring comfortable shoes.

Its always nice to find places like this in the city. Park has big nice like, which is full of birds and occasionally peoples rowing kayaks. It has nice, lengthy walking trail around the like, I really enjoyed jogging there. We were jogging at Sunday afternoon, it wasn't very busy, just other people enjoying jogging or walking. There are few... More

99% mexicans, but being next to Dallas Lovefield Airport offers amazing and awfully close views of planes landing. Hot spanish men strutt their stuff if you are into it. This is a nice place but not a must to visit. You will waste time and be disappointed if you think this is a tourist attraction.

We went on a romantic picnic by the lake kinda affair. Lake is beautiful and the surrounding scenery was nice. However the crown along with sketchy people trying to sell bootleg DVDs really ruins it. We sat away from all the crowd and had a great time but I don't think we will do it again unless it changes over... More

It used to be a good place to relax for a while in the center of Dallas although even in those days there was soem airplane traffic. You see the park is directly in the flight path from love Filed. Now that the Wright Amendment has expired and more and more planes can land and depart the amount of overhead... More

The lake itself is pretty but much of the trail around the lake lacks vegetation and, particularly in the summer, lacks shade. Part of the trail butts up to heavily travelled roads. In the park itself there is sufficient shade and picnic facilities. The noise from nearly Love Field is a constant headache but fun to watch planes take off... More

The lake is pretty, but the park is overshadowed by Love Field which is on the other side of the lake. As soon as we got out of the car, we were hit with the smell of jet exhaust. It was fun watching the planes take off and land, but I don’t know about using the trail for exercise while... More

My wife and I found Bachman Lake Park by accident. We had just arrived (2 days prior) to Dallas and was exploring some potential shopping in the neighborhood of the hotel we were staying. Not a bad little park. Close to Love Field airport, it gives you a birds-eye-view of planes landing. Look like you could reach up and touch... More

This used to be the hangout spot on Saturdays and Sundays during the 90's and early 2000's...Still, nice vibe, during daylight hours, even though the neighborhood has under gone a LOT of change...Lot's of foods from many nationalities in the area, about a mile down Northwest H'Way from shopping heaven aka Harry Hines Blvd...... Very vibrant!

I stopped by Bachman Lake park only because Bachman is my surname. This little park sits adjacent to Love Field Airport. There are plenty of picnic tables, and a full walking/jogging path around the lake. That's about it. There's nothing special about the park.
