I have been visiting White Rock Lake Park for the last 10 years. It is one of my favorite parks in the city of Dallas. People enjoy many activities in this park - roller skating, biking, walking, jogging, barbecuing, picnicking or simply sitting and watching the sunset. It is a great place for siting variety of wildlife - migratory birds,... More

My wife brought me here, and it was a great place to simply rest from the hustle and bustle of the big city rat race.

I go there frequently. It truly is an oasis in a busy city. It is a treasure for our neighborhood, and a sanctuary for the wildlife.

I love this lake, it's my all time favorite, been going there since i was a kid so now I volunteer for a group that picks trash up every second sat of the month. It's great I discover something new and intresting every time I go.

Nice park where a number of activities are avaiable. Boating, biking, birdwatching, running among many other things to do can occupy a full day.

This is a great place to take a long stroll or bike ride. In the fall you can smell the flowers and feel the cool lake breeze coming off of the water.

In the middle of Dallas, its a place to get away & relax. You can run hike, or bike...or even just lay on a blanket.

Lovely walking and biking park set around a huge pond. This place is just beautiful! The Dallas Arboretum is located there too and it's a "don't miss" as well.

This is a place where you can see Dallas skyline in the sunset and pelicans on the lake. You can jog, walk, take photos, make pick-nick. And Dallas Arboretum is very very close. So you can visit this park after you visit Dallas Arboretum.

Kudos to the Park Board and those in local government who redesigned the paths, added bridges, light and landscaping -- all during the recession. It's a treasure.
