Wow...what a pleasant and relaxing park right in the middle of Dallas. Great hiking trails right along White Rock. Great views of downtown Dallas from the park. And don't forget to check out the seagulls in the northeast corner of White Rock Lake Park. Great picture taking.

I like this trail because it offers distance (9.3 miles) but does not have a lot of steep incline. I have a bad... More

We love being outside. This is a great little get away, especially if you don't feel like driving an hour or more to really get away. If you are an avid outdoorsman, you may be a little disappointed. However this is great for something close and well kept.

On a warmer than usual early November afternoon, we arrived on the east side of the lake near the old Dreyfus Club location and south of the Bath House to attend a geocaching event. This is a beautiful area that I would speculate not too many people from out of town by a mere 30 miles would know about. We'd... More

Fabulous lake that i have been acquainted with since 1985. They have done a major renovation improving the biking and walking paths as well as have taken into effect the high water levels at time and built bridges for pedestrians. We used to ride our bikes the entire perimeter which was just under 12 miles. There are sailboats and paddle... More

When friends come to Dallas to visit, we always talked them for a walk at White Rock Lake. The lake is an oasis in the city. The entire lake is part of the park and you can walk all the way around it (though it is 9 miles). The park is well cared for by the city, plus each quarter... More

We had a great time when we took our dog for a walk around the lake this past weekend. The paved path around the lake is clean, well maintained, and I think 9 miles long. We didn't make it all the way around. Next time we'll stop and have a picnic.
