I walked around the lake in March on a warm spring day and it was gorgeous. There are plenty of restrooms on the way round and one entrance to the trail is conveniently located only ten minutes walk from a DART station.

This lake is gorgeous! Wonderful walking trails circle the lake. A flock of green parakeets can be spotted, if you're lucky, and it's fun to watch the people rowing and sailing.

If you are looking for a good place to run in the Dallas area, this is it. There are many places to get water, and the water view is great.

We walked the dog all over the park and it was a wonderfully chilly day but lots of sunshine. People were everywhere enjoying it all.

My friend and I have kayaked White Rock Lake several times now. And by several, I mean almost every weekend for about 9 months. It's not very challenging, but we enjoy it. If you're looking for beginning kayaking, there is a boat rental place that seems nice. Otherwise, there are boat launches all around the lake from which you can... More
