So close to the city and offers solid trails for biking, walking, running, etc. Lake is perfect for kayaking as you explore the shore and creeks for birds, ducks, herons and other aviary. Watching sailboat racing is fun too as there are two sailboat clubs on the lake. Great for family outings with picnic tables, grills and more. Definitely a... More

This is the perfect place to get away from city life for an hour, or two, or more. It's perfect to just unwind and get in touch with nature. A walk around the lake, followed by a picnic, is ideal. Beautiful and diverse photo opportunities. My only gripe was the lack of bathroom facilities. It would have scored 5 overall... More

Great running paths and biking paths. Can't figure out where some of the bike paths go but still exploring. Very busy on nice days. Bathrooms available.

I was visiting friends in Dallas and visited this place, liked it, read any other review and you will get the idea, I have nothing more to add, for me, finding parking spot wasn't an issue, the area was clean and I was there around 7pm, so sun was beautiful.

Great place to walk, run, bike. Avoid weekends if you don't like crowds. Goes without saying it's hot & humid in summer months. Kayak rental also available

All to like.......nothing to dislike. We are cyclists and this is a traffic free environment for 99% of the time. Our Dallas- based buddy tells us that there are some thieves around who prey on cars where valuables are on show. However, we accessed the park by the hospital road and then turned left and left again and parked up... More
