I went with a friend not knowing what to expect, but turned out very well worth it. Parking was $5.00 and easy. Watch for the guys selling the magazines on the streets outside, though they give some good info very fast, but they are selling a product. The Sixth Floor Museum is a must see for any visitor to Dallas. The museum is in the Former Texas School Book Depository from which Lee Harvey Oswald allegedly shot and killed President John F. Can't go to Dallas without seeing the Texas Schoolbook Depository if you are 35 and older. Very interesting and well done. You can tour by yourself. You can purchase headphones that can be plugged into displays for further details. Coupons are available on the web for discount tickets. CONS: No photos allowed inside the building. Well worth a look. more

This is the same as the Sixth Floor Museum. Oswald was employed at and shot from the Texas School Book Depository--he shot from a 6th floor window.
