Anyone old enough to remember remembers the day Kennedy was shot and what they were doing when it happened. Visiting this historic site brought back vivid sad memories of that world changing day for my wife and myself. It is very well done with photos and videos, The spot where Oswald fired his weapon is set up just as it... more

Remember where you were when JFK was assassinated? Ever wonder what the "Grassy Knoll" really may have looked like that day? This museum took my husband & I back to all those feelings & questions we had growing up. It was very somber yet a privilege for us to visit such a piece of history. It filled me with emotions... more

My wife and I went to the museum on a Sunday morning (after 10am) hoping to miss the crowds. For the most part, it worked but there were still alot of people and you have to be patient if you want to take all the information in. We really enjoyed seeing where this tragic event happened, and also hearing about... more

I really enjoyed my visit to the Sixth Floor Museum. The historical trip you take through the audio tour is wonderful. I recommend visiting if you are ever in the Dallas area. more

If you've seen any of the documentaries on the JFK asassination then there's not much more you're going to learn here...still, it's a cool thing to do if you're in Dallas and have an hour or so to spare. Most people seem to complain about the $13.50 entrance fee but that money goes towards keeping the museum open, so I... more

This is a nice museum, laid out well and convenient to the West-End area of downtown Dallas. However, I found that the price was a little high. For something that should probably take no more than one hour (if you want to read every word), the price should be lowered. Like other reviews, the museum does a decent job of... more

For such a relatively small museum, it's vastly overpriced. Best to spend your money elsewhere. more

We spent a couple of hours here. The tour includes a audio (no extra charge) that walks you through the museum. This was a great tribute to one of our finest presidents taken from us way too early. We took our 6 and 10 year olds and they found it very interesting and educational as well. This is a must... more

Our family visited the Sixth Floor Museum on September 30, 2008. If you are in our age group and can remember where you were when you learned Kennedy had been shot you have to visit this museum if you are in Dallas. Our son had only read about the assassination in history class in school but he also was impressed... more

This museum is located on the floor where Oswald is said to have shot JFK. It has a comprehensive exhibit starting with an overview of JFK, his presidency, and the trip to Texas. It goes into detail on the specific events to the extent that it can, with stills from the various movies of the event. There is then an... more
