If you've seen any of the documentaries on the JFK asassination then there's not much more you're going to learn here...still, it's a cool thing to do if you're in Dallas and have an hour or so to spare. Most people seem to complain about the $13.50 entrance fee but that money goes towards keeping the museum open, so I... more

This is a nice museum, laid out well and convenient to the West-End area of downtown Dallas. However, I found that the price was a little high. For something that should probably take no more than one hour (if you want to read every word), the price should be lowered. Like other reviews, the museum does a decent job of... more

For such a relatively small museum, it's vastly overpriced. Best to spend your money elsewhere. more

We spent a couple of hours here. The tour includes a audio (no extra charge) that walks you through the museum. This was a great tribute to one of our finest presidents taken from us way too early. We took our 6 and 10 year olds and they found it very interesting and educational as well. This is a must... more

Our family visited the Sixth Floor Museum on September 30, 2008. If you are in our age group and can remember where you were when you learned Kennedy had been shot you have to visit this museum if you are in Dallas. Our son had only read about the assassination in history class in school but he also was impressed... more

This museum is located on the floor where Oswald is said to have shot JFK. It has a comprehensive exhibit starting with an overview of JFK, his presidency, and the trip to Texas. It goes into detail on the specific events to the extent that it can, with stills from the various movies of the event. There is then an... more

This is a part of recent history not to be missed. The Sixth Floor Museum is informative and educational. It is a great tribute to JFK and his legacy. There is nothing like it anywhere and worth a visit. You will feel for his legacy and his family after this visit. The audio tour is good if you have the... more

This is nothing more than what you could or have probably seen on the history channel. I went there expecting JFK artifacts, something. This is nothing more than pictures with captions to be read. Very disappointing. Was also very disappointed that you can't even take pictures out of the window. I understand them not wanting you to take pictures of... more

As others have mentioned, this museum does a very nice job of using video and sound to great an interactive experience. I almost think they need to have time-stamped tickets, though. Certain areas get very, very crowded, making it difficult to read what you want to read or see what you want to see. Plan to spend at least 3-4... more

The museum is as every other reviewer descripes it. It was moving and did have a lot of new and interesting video clips and newspaper clips. The idea to have the tours self guided was wonderful. It was too easy to turn off my headphones and really read the newspapers from that day or listen to the television announcements. I... more
