One of the most architecturally famous building in the US. It looks different from each side. I believe it was designed by IM Pei.

As I think one other reviewer below stated, the rules at the fountain appear to have changed since other people have mentioned that this is a great place to go to cool off and let children play....children are most definitely 100% NOT allowed anywhere near the water anymore. My 11year old happened to put his hand in one of the... More

This place is nice to walk through on the way to the arts district. There are some nice fountains but they are in the middle of large buildings, i cant help thinking this would be better in a woodland or park area. Still, its free and quite pleasant, i enjoyed stopping for a moment to take it in and liked... More

You should visit Fountain Place. It's much better viewed at night when the water is lit up with lights. Very romantic. Easy access.

Thank you so much to other reviewers for writing about these fountains. We would never have know they were there. We walked up several blocks from the Sixth Floor Museum and found them on Ross Ave at the Wells Fargo building. We kept walking down from the sidewalk to see the wonderful varied fountains. There was a cooling breeze and... More

I was dining with a colleague at The Avanti Ristorante located at The Fountain Place in Dallas, Texas (Downtown, on Ross Avenue) . I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant just as I have always had many times before at this grand place. Afterwards, I ventured out into the Fountain area of the building just as I have in... We were in Dallas for just 24 hours and had limited time and thus stuck to the downtown area. This place is a hidden gem in the heart of the city and we loved it. The day we visited the wind was really blowing and the water in the bigger fountains tended to over spray and get you wet if... More

When I ask locals if they have ever been to Fountain Place many just look at me blankly. Then I say, "you know ... the pointy building down town" It is a beautiful place and the fountains are beautiful. I love sharing this place with out of town visitors, and they love it. Years ago when my son was little... More

Ok ,you won't spend an hour here maybe , but it is fun if you want to have a break and sit at a table or just chat with friends. Very relaxing and soothing, nice place . I love that you can find this in the middle of the city.
