Stayed in the Dallas Fairmont Hotel for six nights. The Fountain Place is right next to the hotel. Had a chance to walk through the fountains in both day time and at night. Beautiful best describes watch you see and enjoy. If in Dallas take the time to visit.

They really do things bigger in Texas. This is an amazing site but be sure to walk down and through all of the fountains. Very pretty but especially spectacular at night.

We visited this place on a Saturday evening. Sadly only the main fountain was in action on one side, and the flowing water on the other. All the other fountains were turned off. One area had been drained & was cordoned off. So we were definitely disappointed we didn't get to see this place in all its glory. The buildings... More

I read about this on Trip Advisor and it wasn't on the top for places for us to visit. We had some extra time so we ran over to look at it. It took us a little bit to find it, but it's so gorgeous. If I lived in Dallas I would love to go there and read constantly. It's... More

From a distance, Fountain Place is a masterpiece. I.M. Pei designed this amazing beuilding to where the outline, or silhouette, is different from every single vantage point. It is, in my opinion, the greatest tower in Dallas' skyline. Reunion usually gets the nod from most, but that's because of novelty and flash, literally. The amazing thing is this cool, sharp,... This is a pretty nice feature to do if it's on the way or in the area but I would not make a special trip. It's a great place to relax and take a break after a long walk out day of site seeing. You can complete the whole area in about 15/20 minutes. Of course if you want to... More

This place was very close to our hotel, so we swung by for a look. Very pretty, and worth the stop. If I lived or worked close I would eat lunch here every day!!! Just a small park area between some buildings, but very cool. I wouldn't make a long drive just for this though. Check out the rest of... More

it is a very nice architectural water feature. If you work or live nearby it is a nice respite and place to relax, meditate, or talk. If you are a tourist looking for things to do/see, it’s not worth a trip unless you have small children who want to frolic in the water spray. Anyone billing it as a tourist... More

On my recent vacation to Dallas, Tx while sightseeing my eyes were drawn to a "magnificent" blue glass and steel skyscraper. I followed the direct to what I now know as "Fountain Place" in the heart of Dallas, Tx business district. My visit was in late March / April 2014 before the trees, grass, and flowers were in full bloom.... More
