This place was very close to our hotel, so we swung by for a look. Very pretty, and worth the stop. If I lived or worked close I would eat lunch here every day!!! Just a small park area between some buildings, but very cool. I wouldn't make a long drive just for this though. Check out the rest of... More

it is a very nice architectural water feature. If you work or live nearby it is a nice respite and place to relax, meditate, or talk. If you are a tourist looking for things to do/see, it’s not worth a trip unless you have small children who want to frolic in the water spray. Anyone billing it as a tourist... More

On my recent vacation to Dallas, Tx while sightseeing my eyes were drawn to a "magnificent" blue glass and steel skyscraper. I followed the direct to what I now know as "Fountain Place" in the heart of Dallas, Tx business district. My visit was in late March / April 2014 before the trees, grass, and flowers were in full bloom.... More

I've been to the Fountain Place a few times both in spring and summer and the fountains were always off. The only time they were on was a Friday during work hours in July. I took my little sisters here and they were told by security to stay away from the fountain that didn't have a wall around it because... More

Found this place on here and got really excited to see it. WALKED to it from the museum and all the fountains were off! It was a Sunday afternoon at 4... And very disappointing.

We visited at dusk and thought it was beautiful! The landscaping & greenery was beautiful & the fountains were wonderful! Great atmosphere with some benches to enjoy it & it's free! Can't beat that!

If I'm not mistaken, our tour guide told us that there were 350 fountains at Fountain Place. We visited at dusk and the lights below the fountains were illuminating under the water and trees. There are several places to sit and enjoy the shade (from the hot Texas sun), the sight of the fountains, and the sound of the water.... More

This is a very beautiful place in Dallas, no fee required and a good set of pictures you will be able to take. Easy to get here by rail.

I always enjoy spending a little bit of time at Fountain Place. It was designed to enhance the experience of the surrounding Allied Bank Tower designed by the great architect I.M. Pei. (Also known to locals as "The Lipstick Building.") :-) Whether or not you appreciate details of fine architecture and space designers (Fountains by Dan Kiley), they have engineered... More
