It was an unexpected pleasure to run across this oasis in the middle of Dallas on a hot afternoon. Dallas is a city of fountains but this was the best of them all. Don't miss it on a hot day especially.

I happened to walk by this place and really like it. It's peaceful and quiet. You may sit down by the fountain and have some reading or just a daydream.

Gorgeously landscaped. Very romantic feel to the place. This place would be a nice wedding venue. We loved our visit today.

There is a lot of fountains at the base of the building. A peaceful place to wonder around or have a picnic.

The water place is def worth a visit and a nice place to relax and read a book. Not much to do around it though but that might be a bit common for Dallas.

We were so disappointed. After walking many blocks to see the lovely fountains, the building is closed and for sale. Nothing had been posted when I looked to tip us off. When it is running, I'm sure it is beautiful, but that doesn't appear to be anytime soon. The building is empty.

Pretty area with trees and fountains - including a big fountain you can walk through - at the base of the IM Pei-designed building that Dallas (the TV show) fans will recognize as the office of JR Ewing. In the summer this area can feel 10-20 degrees cooler than the sun-baked streets that surround it.

This is directly behind Fairmont and the Starbucks. Very quiet pretty place with numerous different fountains. Definitely take a walk thru. Lots of benches to enjoy a book or your coffee.

The fountains are indeed very nice, specially the one that does the water play as if coordinated with music. Although it is listed as one of the places to visit in Dallas this is NOT a public place therefore visitors and site seekers should be advised that it is PRIVATE PROPERTY and visitors are not really welcomed.

We really enjoyed The Fountain Place! It was so relaxing hearing the water. It has so much to see with the fountains all around the building.
