We had spot 7 and it was awesome. Deer wonder up to your site which our boys loved. Beautiful views and clean bathrooms. Bathhouse was heated which was a bonus!

Very nice CoE park right on Canyon Lake. Lots of shade, many sites with utilities, large clean bathrooms. Lots of deer wander through the park.

I went with a group from the BS and we had great time. The water is very clean and well as the facilities. The park is beautiful and safe. I will love to go back for a day trip or to camp again. Very safe environment.

Hello All, My family and I decided to do something for Labor Day weekend, which coincidentally, was also my birthday weekend. However, the budget was a definite factor in our decision. My boyfriend has previously stayed at another campground ran by the COE that was reasonable in price but very minimal in amenities. I google searched campgrounds in the area... More

Potter's creek has beautiful views from just about every camp site. There are plenty of waterfront spots which are full sun and lots of shaded spots on the hill among the large oak trees. We have a camper and decided to use the bathhouse because they were very well maintained and the shower stalls are large. We did have a problem... More

We decided to stay here for Spring Break and the park hosts were very friendly. The spots have plenty of grass, but not many have shade, especially if you want to be near the water. The water is very low, but we have a boat, so spend most of our time in the middle of the lake. The bathhouse is... More

Just got back from spending three nights at Potter's Creek Park. We stayed at site # 58 under some beautiful oak trees. The water was beautiful, as blue as the caribbean and as clear. The weather was hot, but we live in Texas, so we expected that. The bathrooms were spotless, a big plus in my book. The grounds were... More

We went to visit potters creek from Houston, TX and it took me 4 hours to get there. Upon arrival the mean rude gate attendant did not allow us to go in and see the restrooms. I spent 150 dollars to get there and she refuse to let us go in and look. She said it was government policy not... More

We had a great view from our spot. I was not happy that the restrooms were not looked upon daily. Toilet paper was out for 2 days. Since you are not a full hook up(sewer) facility and your showers and restrooms are used frequently it would have been nice to have locking doors on restroom stalls and the showers. Neither... More

I must say, no complaints here. The bathrooms were clean, the people were friendly and the water was beautiful. The Army Corps usually has a decent park scene. Nothing special, but no concerns. Thier are not many trees around the lake, but each site provides a form of cover over the picnic tables. If you are planning on sitting around... More
