Nice little beach - a bit dirty though

I love going to the lake and spend the whole day for fun. I sometimes go to the dam part because it's free but still very enjoyable.

I came at the end of the day just to drive through and look. It was well-worth the $7 entry fee per vehicle. The park was very clean and has a large beach area and a panoramic view of the scenery. There were many families out there enjoying the beach and view.

We are retired military, but this recreational facility on Jacob's Creek Park is fabulous. Right now, the water is quite high due to all of the rains, but there is a nice roped off area for swimming, and you can rent boats, and all other types of water craft here. The rental cabins are great value also.

This is where we have always gone at Canyon Lake. Just beautiful. The water and the sights are kept up nicely. It is the best spot at Canyon hands down.

My wife and I spent the morning visiting this park as we toured Canyon Lake. We were surprised to find there was a charge, especially as we were the only visitors in the parking lot. There were plenty of picnic benches and barbeque stands for anyone wanting to eat outdoors. We walked back up towards the barrier, and accidentally encountered... More

We launched from the Jacobs creek ramp and went out on the lake. We ended up being later than the 6PM closing time to due to an emergency on the lake. We had no number to call and report we would be late. After getting the boat out of the water at 7PM a security guard approached and was clearly... More

The park is very clean n has nice covered areas to sit in with port o' potty facilities. The only dislike was the staff yelling on their bullhorns an hour before closing.

The park is a good place to see the lake, with excellent views of the dam and shore line. It is well equipped with covered picnic tables and mutliple restrooms. The entry price is now $7, but we had no trouble with the automated entry gate. There is a roped off swimming area. The shore is pebbles, rocks, and lots... More
