We had a small group of adults of varying riding experience and all had a wonderful time on our ride into the canyon. The horses are well cared for and were well chosen for each rider and we had three guides with us. The owner came along with us and was a delightful guide as he shared stories of his... More

The guides were super friendly and knowledgeable. The horses were very gentle. The landscape was incredible. The owners put their hearts into this business and it shows. I highly recommend you take a ride and meet Jesse and horses.

We try to ride just about every where we go, and Palo Duro canyon was no exception ! What a treat ! Great horses, and the sweetest little "wrangler" who is a student at WTAMU in Canyon. We were all treated very well by the entire staff, and it was obvious that this outfit took great care of their animals.... More

What a great time! The owners treat you like family, in fact they brought along their 1 year old for the ride. She was precious. The trail stories were down to earth, and funny too. Much prefer this stable to the other in the park. Gotta go if your in the area

Wow. I am a Canadian ranch owner and rider myself. I could really appreciate the quality of the outfit. I was very impressed with the love of the land, the knowledge of the animals and the care for the environment that Jesse, the owner had. I wanted to see the landscape from the back of a horse so decided what... More

Great experience, my first trail ride and it won't be my last. One hour ride through one of the nicest parts of the canyon with friendly, interesting, experienced guides. Full marks, Jesse!

Happy accident that we stumbled upon this place. The folks at Palo Duro Riding Stables were friendly, professional and interesting. Our 6 & 9 year old had a great time. Horses were easy. Trail boss had awesome stories about the land and his family. If you want a unique canyon experience, try them!

Family owned business, the land and canyon were gorgeous. Trail guides friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell they love the land and their work. The horses were very gentle. My 67 year old mom down to my 9 year old daughter had a great time.

My family and I were on our way to Colorado when we hear about this riding stable. We decided to check it out. Let me tell you, it was beautiful and awe striking. The horses were obedient and the tour guides entertained us with stories of porcupines and the history of the stables. I highly recommend this for teenagers.

I had always wanted to stop in Palo Duro, on our many trips to and from Colorado. Amarillo had been merely a stopping point. No more! We had the most enjoyable ride with Jesse and his "gang". Everyone from the 5 year olds, to this granny, had a wonderful time. The horses were matched to the riders ability...or lack of.... More
