Internally I did not like the renovation that occurred I gather in 2008. It looks to be unsympathetic to history and in contrast to many other lovely altars in other Filipino Catholic Churches of... It is about 20-minute drive from Legaspi. The exterior is really nice. Outside you can a have great view of the Mayon. Inside there are various religious statues and art works.

I can't explain how I felt during my visit here early this evening. The place was very calm and peaceful. I was able to see the top of the bell tower from the Daraga town plaza. I was thinking, why is it so high?! Then I tried to go to the place. I recommend visiting the place between 7pm to... More

I recommend going here early in the morning so you could get a clear view of Mt. Mayon from the church.

The Daraga Church is situated at the highest point of this sleepy town called Daraga. It is a beautiful church inside out!

I think for me this is the best place if you really want to see the beauty of Mayon. We just got lucky that there are no clouds that covers the Mayon when we visited Daraga church.

This is indeed a monument to attest to the beauty of Gods creation - a church that served as refuge for the people when Mayon Volcano erupted. Its historic importance is the reason you should visit it when in Legaspi.

I for one enjoy the clouds playing around Mariang Mayon , as I call her affectionately . Perhaps easily the best angles and captures I have witnessed is at this hilltop Daraga Church , thanksto...
