The lodge has been under new management for the past few years. Still the same beauty the hill county is known for but now your experience can be enhanced by a trip to Canyon of the Eagles. wonderful trip! what a beautiful vacation! wild flowers were in full bloom! it looked like the property was carpeted in a quilt! great hiking trails but they could have used more trail markers. staff was very friendly and helpful. rooms were fine. wish they would have had a fridge in the rooms. very pet friendly. diner was outstanding! totally shocked... more

The area is as stunning as you are led to believe. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The personel are pleasurable. The kitchen however is as you changed to another country.
