We visited Stockyards in Dallas last year and had the best time at the rodeo so thought we'd visit another whilst in San Antonio and this was even better! It was a fun experience from start to finish - we sat at a little spit and sawdust bar with horses tail stools before the rodeo, we chose our own seats... More

For a great time go to the rodeo. Lots of action and the kids can even get involved. Pro Rodeo without the price.

We ate at the steakhouse first which was okay. We had the KC steaks which were a disappointment. They were edible but the flavoring was not anything great. Three of us ate there and we all had the same thing and all thought the same thing about the steaks.

Superb service with a gourmet twist! Great surroundings and beautiful atmosphere. I ordered the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the Kansas city special and it was also perfect! Our waiter was great. We will be back. So close to home.

Had a Groupon for this place so decided to check it out even though it was over an hour away. Well needless to say it was totally worth it. We will definitely be returning. I had the 10 oz KC steak and it just melted in my mouth. One of the best steaks I have had in my life and... More

My husband and I visited Tejas Rodeo during a recent visit to San Antonio. We had a fabulous night. The steak at the steakhouse was outstanding, and the staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful. If you are visiting Texas and looking for a great Texan night out, this is definitely worth a visit. $12 entrance fee for... More

This is a great place to take your family. The food is outstanding, the dress is casual and the atmosphere is great for kids. My grandkids LOVE the horses. We have to beg them to go in and eat!

On our first visit to Texas we looked for something typically Texan, a rodeo sounded like a good place to start. We arrived mid afternoon as the staff were setting up for that evenings event, we were dealt with by the duty manager and chef Tyler who gave us a warm Texan welcome, showed us around and took us to... This was a great way to spend saturday night. I was skeptical about the rodeo, btu it was fun. Lots of bull riding, bronc riding, mutton bustin, calf roping, barrel racing. It is set up like a small little old west town. They had places to buy t-shirts, mechanical bullriding, picture on a fake bucking bull, plenty of picnic tables... More
