Loved this rodeo! I would rate this a "must see" for any visitor to San Antonio. Extremely well priced and tons of fun. We went with three kids (5, 8, 10). Bull riding, calf roping, trick riding, barrel racing and (our favorite) mutton bustin'. My daughter loved to ride the machanical bull. The food was good and also very reasonably...

The rodeo begins at 7:30pm. Sharp! Bull riding(men) and mutton busting(kids)and watching young women have a great time riding horses. Young men and women roping calfs.
There is food and dancing and mechanical bullriding.

Yes, I guess it can. Small venue but very well done and inexpensive. Take the kids to see the "mutton busters"...(kids trying to ride lambs)

The rodeo hadn't started yet, but it's fun, too. The restaurant is surprisingly good. All fresh, homemade dishes. The rodeo atmosphere is part of the fun. Band and dancing on the pavilion during rodeo season.

This place in the country 30 minutes north of San Antonio
has recently been reopened. We went for my 40th high school reunion. Very pleasantly surprised. Only opens on weekends from March to November (check Thursdays, too?). Lunch available on weekends.
